Having grown up in the north Okanagan (Falkland/Lumby) and attending high school in Salmon Arm in the 70's, watching RVR brings me home to a simpler time.. parties at KOA, JLJackson, and old friends that are true and deep as Avery and Mike. Great to see Avery stepping up during the 2023' fire storm. One day, I'll make the treck up from the coast to visit and hopefully meet Mike and clan in person and maybe even acquire a car from his shop.. I man can dream. Mike and his family and friends are truly cut from a cloth that is genuine and rare. Many from this area are of the same persona.. give the shirt off their back and integrity in every word spoken.. great job!! This world needs more of what you folks are selling.. and the cars are pretty awesome, too!!

I totally agree whit Mike, letting go of a lot of cars is the right decision. BUT I don’t like it, gonna miss the worlds best, most genuine car show on TV (thank god for KZread though).

This was an interesting and fun show to watch,but the time and funds put into each project was astonishing. I have never restored a vehicle, I have worked with steel and aluminum. Letting a car from the 60s sit in a mud field for 30 years will destroy all structural stability from any kind of framing. Rust Valley? The interior of BC had snow, rain , sleet and hail. All horrible things for cars sitting outside on wet ground. It’s a romantic idea to have a field of classics to restore, or be realistic and have a junkyard. I think this crew was talented in what they do, but money making from this type of disaster beginning?

I know if I had the money I would’ve paid him in a heartbeat to build me a Short Bed Chevy pick up truck to resemble the one. My dad gave me I miss that truck. I miss my dad I know he would be one of the few people that could’ve made it happen.
