Great books thank you for sharing. The Bat-Girl is great and it’s definitely the time to pick up Batman Silver Age keys (and probably DC overall) in mid grades at excellent prices. Thanks again

Cool pickups! I'd keep that Aquaman raw (and this coming from a guy with 400 graded comics, not a graded book hater). Rationale: 1) Gus was preachin' truth--those interior pages and even the colors are beautiful to behold; 2) It really won't juice the value all that much to grade it; 3) why risk another transaction with CGC (have you heard about the current warped inner well problems???); and 4) it presented beautifully in that mylar (except for the price tag). I'd just put it in another Std M2 and FB just like it was (except with painters tape on back, so you can easily access it again)! Like you, I think I'm done with CGC, and it's really sad. Beware of any books graded this spring unless you have positive confirmation the inner well isn't warped. THEY ARE DAMAGING BOOKS AFTER GRADING!

Thanks for the heads up, I hadn't heard about the inner well issues, did that happen to one of your submissions? Yeah, I don't blame you, I haven't submitted anything after my Megacon experience

@@momoonocollects yes, I submitted 18 comics this spring that were original new purchases off the shelf in the early 80’s. They seriously damaged two books, which interestingly both received 9.8s (or I wouldn’t have submitted), and I know what these books looked like even before I paid for CCS pressing. Two books came back seriously worse off. Nothing huge, just an Uncanny X-Men 177 and ASM Annual 16. Both books picked up serious spine tics, and this ugly rippling near the spine. And when you view the slab through the clear left side, the inner well is bowed like a banana!! The top of the inner well is at the front of the case, then it bows inwards where it’s against the back of the back outer shell, then it bows back forward to the front shell. It’s so seriously curved that no spine can stand that much stress without failing. Folks on the forums say I could send them back through and claim damages, and they would POSSIBLY be willing to cover it. But there’s no guarantee it would get a 9.8 the next time even if it does come back properly encapsulated

@@momoonocollects Check out this video. This is EXACTLY what I am dealing with on two of the 18 books I submitted this spring. I'M DONE WITH CGC GRADING! WARPED INNER WELLS DAMAGING COMIC BOOK! MakeRoomCollectibles Like this guy, sure...I have these two 9.8 slabbed comics, but the books within are no longer 9.8s. I could never sell them in good conscience like this (I'm not a flipper, but I'm not going to die with them), but can't really even appreciate them when they were far better off before.

@@momoonocollects Yeah, it's pretty unbelievable when you think about it. A graded comic is in a plastic inner well, inside a plastic case, then usually ships in a plastic bag. In your case, it was then shipped inside two plastic bubble mailers. Then two cardboard boxes. Almost all of that is single use, except maybe the cardboard if the box is opened carefully. I buy and sell and try to save and re-use all of the packing materials I can, but it's still really difficult for me as to how wasteful this hobby is...

People who receive packages and don’t remember the books I call BS…. Like how do you know it’s books? Full of doo doo

Well of course you're entitled to your opinion. I stack my comic book packages in a pile so I can film opening them In this case it was about a month before I could open them for filming, and the pile had over 20 packages totaling over a hundred comics, so I couldn't remember what was inside of couple of them Thanks for watching!
