You may have seen this case go viral on another channel but what you may not know is that in that video, they only used a few minutes of a very interesting interrogation. This interrogation is now one of my favorites and I think you all will enjoy watching David try to act his way out of being a suspect.

It sounds like his wife knew they were f*cking. He hinted, and she seemed to understand what he was saying. He talks about Brad being "like that" and "he wants to take me from you and the kids". I took that to mean Brad told him he should break it off with his wife so they'd be together. David says "no", Brad threatens to out him anyway, so he kills Brad.

I was born and raised to ALWAYS say “sir” and “ma’am”. Idk his full backstory obviously, but if his claim saying that he was raised that way, he could completely be doing it out of nervous reaction. I have done the same thing when I would get in trouble with my parents as a child and with school staff if I got in trouble there. Sure some are set up to fail or have a higher chance (e.g., poor support systems), but it really could happen to anyone and it's important to remember that even if they did heinous things, they're people not too different from those who haven't committed terrible crimes.

yes you have right, sometime i feel that USA low is strange. Last time I saw a hearing where the associates planned the theft. One was to watch over the robbed, the other was to set up a bank account for transfer. The guard panicked and killed the hostage. The person who was in the bank, who didn't commit the murder, didn't even have it in the plan - she got the same sentence as the killer - life imprisonment. That's a bit absurd to me. You can do nothing but try to steal and you'll get sentenced like a murderer. I know you're about to say that this person may not have been involved in the theft. But the punishment should be commensurate with the crime committed. Here, murder has been equated to setting up an account miles away from the scene of the murder

He looks like he's halfway in a state of shock. Its possible he had a huge meltdown later than night.
The way he was with his wife tells you all you need to know about him. First he asks her to stick by him. Then he sounds irritated at her surprised reaction. And as she's having a break down over realizing her husband cheated, killed his lover/best friend and brought her and their daughter to find the body, he ignores her pain and keeps talking. Instead of showing any amount of remorse for her suffering, he keeps trying to get her to see his side by manipulating her with "What would you do if..." and "I was scared..." blah blah blah. No care in the world about how this must feel for her. Only trying to make her see his side so she doesn't leave. He can't even comprehend he should care for her emotions.

I see it as he is the one going to jail and only had so much time to talk. So he had to try to say what he could in the short time to try to win her over to staying on his side. He knew that if he lost her he would be going to jail alone. That's what scared him. So yes he was inconsiderate of her feelings but when there is a countdown on a timer that when it runs out your ass is off to jail, then you put things aside to do what's necessary for you at that point in time. I'm sure in his mind his wife and kids are on the outside and safe. Where as he is going to be fighting for his life for the rest of his life in that cement box. I dont care who you are, if you have a countdown on your time left in the outside world your time will be all about yourself and no one else. He could have tried his best to answer the hundreds of questions she wants to ask but he has all the time now while he is sitting in prison to answer them, at the time of the interrogation room his time was limited so he used it the best he could. Cant say what you would do unless your put in that situation. You can say you would be the stand up person all you want but once you make a mistake like he did your mind dont do the stand up decision making that it use to. Now it's in full flight mode and your just making every decision off of whims.

That was truly sad. I almost feel like out of respect for the wife, we shouldn't be watching that. I am sure that tore her whole world apart, and her kids. If she is ever reading this, I hope she didn't let this break her, and she has found all the strength she never knew she had.

This is a difficult one to comment on as there are so many facets to it. The contrast between his histrionics when denying everything and the calm manner in which he confessed to his crime speaks volumes - what an embarrassing performance he gave and I can perfectly understand the detective's look of exasperation towards the camera. I'm sure most angles of this have been covered in the comments but there are important warnings in this case. Guys: don't ever get involved with men who are never going to give up their married lives for you (I know - I've been there), and as for those guys who are struggling with your sexuality - you don't just owe it to yourselves to decide who you really are BEFORE you make life changing decisions such as getting married, you owe it to your theoretical future wives and lovers to do the right thing by them before YOU create scenarios that could just end up like this one...

Well that’s how the world is. You could die at any time. There’s nothing rational about it at all. Also smart people never are interrogated , they ask for a lawyer right away. And smart people are meticulous planners who think of a lot more than dumb people so it takes longer to catch them
When he’s lying, David gets very loud and defensive but when he’s telling the truth he just plainly answers the question. When the detective asks David if his wife is involved David just says, “no sir.” However when the detective implies that david is involved he gets real defensive and even starts screaming, “oh my god!” Over and over again. That shows his guilt and who he really is. It shows he’s selfish, stupid, and manipulative.
