@nahidkaramali3823 yeah except you shouldn't pop pimples unless they're BEGGING to be busted. Which isn't most pimples. The more you have to put effort in (and more pain it causes) the more likely you are to develop acne scarring. My mom has it bad. Idk anything about these specific products though.

I have seen it many times you want to get them out while they are small. Acne starts within the body as well as some dirt and oils on the face and allergy to lactose in dairy is acne a lot of people don't know that if anyone gets acne stop dairy and sugary chocolate foods and greasy fried foods cut back on those also and increase fresh fruits and vegetables raw enzymes and extra vitamins like C and D and E inside and outside the body on skin

THE LAST ONES ARE NOT BLACK HEADS!! they are called sebaceous filaments. you can get rid of them by using an extractor; it presses down on the skin around the filament to push the oil out of the pore. you can also use pore strips, although many people on the internet say they are bad, they really aren’t bad, and a lot of doctors recommend using them every 2 months, and even more often if you have excessively oily skin

  • @leahgroves3611

    @leahgroves3611

I agree that pore strips are fine on occasion but I wouldn’t recommend an extractor bc you can damage pores and blood vessels, especially on the nose. This is anecdotal but I’ve also notice if I try to extract them I usually get a worse bump or pimple in place. Using a salicylic acid product can penetrate pores to clean those out and that along with niacinimide, and retinol(and variants) products can help to control the production of sebum. I really enjoy the doctorly channel for providing info on how to target specific skin concerns.

So basically: Flat baby pimples: apply salicylic acid ( over the counter strength) White heads: pop them but if you use overnight acne stickers ( over the counter) they will pop by themselves in 1 night and wash off in the morning Black heads: apply liquid exfoliater ( over the counter) or what I would personally use is astringent ( witch hazel is great which is over the counter) Pick products with these in it, since many products have these items in it. You don’t need to buy these but I would have got a product if you didn’t try and trick me into Getting what you recommend. Now I don’t want your mess.

It’s easier to just not do anything to ur face. So no facial cream, none of those things she’s promoting, nothing. Let your face get used to that, and to get rid of pimples, either wait them out, or, when you’re taking a shower, under warm water, rub it lightly with a clean shower rag. It’s helped me. So just avoid any chemical contact, that includes cleaning your face with soap or skethkng

The funny part is that the black/grey stuff in your nose pores isn't blackheads. They're ~sebaceous filaments~ and they oxidize in the air, which is why they turn dark. Yes, sometimes they ARE blackheads, but there is a difference between them, and many people are not aware of those differences and assume they're all blackheads. Sebaceous filaments do not need removed, as they are a natural part of your skin. Blackheads are a plug of dirt, oil, etc. that block your pore.

Actually helpful advice: Emerging pimples and hormonal acne you shouldn’t try to pop, it’s usually very difficult and can cause scaring, but white and blackheads are fairly simple to extract without scarring. Before you “pop” anything or attempt to extract anything, putting warm steam on the area for ~10 minutes before hand will help your pores relax and help loosen the dirt and oil clogging your pores. There are facial steamers you can buy for this purpose, but the exact same effect can be achieved by taking a hot shower. You can also just soak a clean face cloth in hot water and hold it to the area for 10 minutes, and if you do that on a white head that looks like it’s ready to pop, sometimes the heat is enough for the pore to just release that on its own without any pressure. If it still hasn’t come out, and you want to extract, make sure you wash your hands before you touch your face, or you can also use two Qtips instead of your fingers. Push gently, if it takes so much pressure that it hurts, it’s not ready, and you may cause scarring. Extractions should be gentle. Maybe a little uncomfortable, but still gentle, they shouldn’t hurt, if they hurt that much that pimple isn’t ready to be popped. Blackheads can be tricky, sometimes you do need extra product to help extract, but in my experience, no amount of any product gets rid of 100% of blackheads, you’ll have to squeeze some out no matter what. As long as you know how to do it properly (i.e. safely and cleanly) you’re fine. If you do have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spot as a result of popping a pimple) there are products for that as well that you can put on after you extract. Source: I grew up with my mom who is an aesthetician and has been giving me extractions since I was 11

sharing this tip from my neighbor who is also my esthetician, how to pop a whitehead so it won't leave a scar and the best way to make sure dirt from your fingers doesn't get in while doing so. get a clean, thin needle and slide the needle in to the pimple from the side (not straight on from the top) and lift up the needle to open it up (clean needle with isopropyl alcohol after use). next, wrap your fingers in a tissue and start squeezing everything out with the sides of your fingers, not your fingertips! make sure to get the core of the pimple out to reduce the risk of it forming again later. what i personally do is also use an acne patch on it afterwards (they don't work on unpopped pimples anyway), i prefer the starface brand over hero cosmetics but both work to suck up the remaining stuff from them! hope this helps others :]

Blackheads are open comedones. Or sebaceous filaments. (Sebaceous meaning your natural oils). Yes the mighty patch she mentions here does absolutely work! They’re great! I’m not too sure about the other products however. I’m an esthetician and I wanted to spread some tips! First, yes salicylic does work. It is meant to help control acne. Acne is not something you can cure, but better maintain and control. If you have a pimple every now and then, please do not use a salicylic cleanser. Why? Because salicylic is an acid, it’s going to dry out the skin. That’s what it’s meant to do is dry it out. If you use a salicylic cleanser on your whole face when you have one pimple on your chin, the rest of your skin will suffer. However, if you have acne prone skin with breakouts everywhere, this is a great choice! If you struggle with blackheads from overproducing sebum, try a clay cleanser or mask! But not every single day because too much will also be drying! Your skin could also be overproducing oils if your skin is dehydrated because your sebaceous glands are trying to protect your skins barrier by keeping it “hydrated” and overproducing those oils. It’s important to keep your skin balanced. If you have any questions feel free to ask away! :))

I don’t want to go splurge on moisturizing products and end up ruining my skin… my cheeks get dry easily but I’m not sure if it’s just because I have combination skin or if it’s a sign of dry skin.. is there a way to identify this or is it just testing to see what works for you?

I just learnt that THOSE ARE NOT ACTUALLY BLACK HEADS! Black heads are of different sizes and don't form at equal distances across the nose. What she shows in the video are called sebaceous filaments, and can be smoothed out with salycilic acid toners, but also and most importantly sulfur based face soaps or cleanser and let it sit for a few minutes then rinse off. Some people say not to use them more than 2-3 times a week bc it's really drying, and tu use a good hydrating cream afterwards

ok easy answer people, if it’s got a visible head you can pop it. i’m a wrestle so i get terrible acne induced by sweat during season and as long as you clean up the pus and debris off your face when done, they shouldn’t pop back up. salicylic acid is a good cleanser but the best i’ve used is burt’s bees w salicylic acid. burt’s bees is for sensitive skin and helps w my acne sfm. if you’re experiencing them on your body, again, if they have a head and you clean up the pus and debris after popping, you should be fine. exfoliating body washes w salicylic acid help a lot too. and lastly, if you’re having issues with keeping your acne manageable, take a skin type test (or preferably go to a dermatologist) and try to find something right for your skin. shaving your face can also help since it promotes the regeneration of skin cells and helps remove hairs and debris that can make your acne appear more plentiful and heavier. also black head nose peels help a lot on the nose (and even the cheeks if you get the blackhead clay that dries and peels off), exfoliating abt once a week also helps w acne). all my years being a teenager have been spent researching and taking advice from actual dermatologists who aren’t j trying to promote a “one size fits all” solution to troublesome acne. also big things here, apple cider vinegar toner (research how to make it) it’s an absolute game changer. hot girls never gatekeep. i hope this helps :) 🫶❤️

If I could ask, do you know any way to remove black spots, especially ones that come from acne scars? Unfortunately, I didn't learn this soon enough and started popping even when the head isn't that visible. Scars started to form everywhere on my cheeks and It's not going away. I was hoping I could get your advice especially after I read that you spent your teenage years gathering information from dermatologists.

NO do not pop any pimples at all unless they’re those white ones that literally have been growing and are about to burst. This is because when you pop anything you do 3 very bad things, 1. You scratch and stretch the skin itself which leads to scarring and saggy skin even if it takes years to show up, and 2. You push pus and bacteria into the skin which creates more pimples, 3. You leave a hole for bacteria to enter which IS WHAT CAUSES THE ACNE. That’s why face wash has alcohol, because it kills acne causing bacteria. If you ever need to pop a pimple becuase it’s on the verge of busting at any moment then do so but immediately wash your face with acne face wash and then apply a pimple patch to prevent bacteria from entering. Never ever force any more pressure than simply what’s needed to get the base amount of pus out so it can heal, your body will do the rest.

    1. White heads need to be extracted or erupted in order for a mighty patch to work as it should. The lymphatic fluid that drains or any bacteria left in the pore will be absorbed by the might patch once there has to be an opening. 2. Black heads on the nose are open comodomes (oil that has oxidized with air). Anything else will either be hair or sebaceous filaments that are natural and healthy fats in the nose.

This is some things I do that have helped me get skin without acne and glowing all day. - Use a mild face wash that eliminates extra oil and cleans your skin well. I suggest littlleextra rriiceberry face cleanser only as it balances the skin pH as well. - Eat a nutritious diet. Avoid oily, junk, and spicy foods. Choose vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in vitamins C, E, A, antioxidants, and minerals. - Exercise helps purify impurities, so make sure to exercise regularly to cleanse your whole body. - Stay away from touching your face often because our hands are generally full of germs that can lead to pimples when they touch the face. - Weekly, use an oil or serum for a face massage to improve circulation. - Weekly, do a cleanup routine: cleansing, steaming, scrub, apply a mask, and rub 2-3 ice cubes. - Washn your brushes and other items you use coz they can host germs that can cause pimples when they come into contact with your skin.

This has been my 4th time ordering this facial wash of rice berry litlexttra. The face wash is extremely fresh, hydrating, light weight, and cleansing the skin truly well. Plus is chemically free. As for talking about the quantity, it's great for this price point, especially if you compare with other facewash in the same range. The texture does feel a bit slimy on the face when you first use it for the first few times, but then you become used to it. So, certainly, a must-try! Leaving your skin smooth and revitalised.

On the nose, those are NOT black heads. That's your nose. Those dots are normal. Popping them, to get the non-acne causing sebum plugs out, will cause a great deal of damage. If they are large and upsetting, a single salicylic acid wash will do the trick. But it is absolutely not acne. [Edit: to permanently reduce them, regularly use a medium to high strength retinoid. Best over the counter is an Adapalene 0.1%, Differin used to be the only brand and still claims to be, but there are many more now that are much cheaper. There is also a prescription ointment you can ask a doctor or licensed dermatologist for.] This woman is obviously not an actual professional, and is only pushing products. The information on the patches especially is a blatant lie. Which is funny, since that's their primary product they sell. Do not take advice from skin care companies, they are almost always fake

@@CleopatraPapadopoulos those are not black heads. The are called pores exposed to oxygen. They are not clogged. The companies that call those black heads are scamming you by making you feel ashamed and anxious for something completely normal, and the lay people who call them that are misinformed. Understandable, since googling it just swamps you with misinformation- it's nearly impossible to find the true definition, since the skin care industry has so thoroughly tricked everyone into thinking a normal nose is bad. A black head is a pre-infection, a raised bump that is noticably pimple like. Unless it is a raised bump, it is not acne. Dark nose pores are oxidized sebum. It's not acne, and does not cause bumps on the skin, lead to infection, or cause inflammation. Even a lot of dermatologists fall for this misconception- intentionally. I have a strong disdain for most derms, unless they also have a background in infectious disease. They are otherwise pseudoscience shills. They've nearly killed me and my father on multiple occasions, I have never been met or witnessed a reasonable science chasing dermatologists, other than Dr Pimple Popper. So I have reason to detest them.
