I never felt more free than the first time I wore niqab fissabilallah. 17 years later and still can't imagine being without it. True physical comfort in a time of being stripped of all comfort. Tight clothes and wearing your makeup masks are so out of date. 😊

my personal opinion (which i don't enforce on any muslimah in any way shape or form) is that a hijab is sufficient. but my sister wears niqab and after some observation, i realized that niqab does have its merits. with hijab, the hair is unseen so sisters don't have the need to waste time effort and money as much as nonhijabs and nonmuslim women do everytime they have to go outside, rendering modern hair beauty standards powerless against them. with niqab it's extended to the face so modern facial beauty standards are not influencing sisters. so no need for extravagant makeup. i'm not saying that muslim sisters shouldn't have the need for beauty products or you shouldn't have the desire to be beautiful and acknowledgment of their beauty. i'm just realizing that their life is made easier with hijab and niqab. no peer pressure no modern beauty standards taking advantage of your feelings and self perception just to take more money from your pockets. i'm an old man and i'm sure i still know nothing about women. so please forgive my offense if there are any.

@nahdamar178 Assalamwalaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu. I know that wearing Niqab or Hijab would mean that you wouldn't have to worry about your looks as much as others, but that shouldn't be one reason for wearing it. One shouldn't stop taking care of their hair and looks just because they are wearing a Hijab/Niqab as well. And another thing I wanted to say. Women shouldn't be using makeup for non-mahram men to see anyway. So, regardless of peer pressure, these things shouldn't affect one's decision at all

@@exceed.chargeno the real reason for niqab is the Prophet's wives did it, it's the highest form of modesty, it's a supererogatory act but nonetheless a very noble one, you missed the point of the video, they did it for Allah not for convenience for not wearing make up etc, you cannot read into someone's intentions and level of sincerity, that is between one and Allah.

The heart of a Mu'min finds tranquility even in suffering. After the devastating earthquake in Turkey, I heard that one scholar continued teaching classes under a tree in the freezing cold, and that he showed nothing but gratitude towards Allah ﷻ, subhanallah.

“we don't live for ourselves...we live for Allah”, this is eye-opening, it really gives meaning and purpose to our lives, it's like we're all single "khalifa fi'lard", right? Every Muslim tries his/her best to please Allah and perpetuate His will on this earth, right?

When they get depressed, they resort to unconscionable and expensive consultations with “experts” who are called psychologists psychiatrists whatnot. When real believers get sad, remembrance of Allah Azza Wa Jal is sufficient. Believers have free mental health guide that is Quran. If only they know the inner peace, they will snatch it away from us. AlhamduliLLAH for everything. May Allah make us steadfast, forgive us, and grant us Jannatul Firdaus.

@@annoraboketto523 Well atheistic/gnostic community has been preaching secular humanism for decades, I’m happy it’s now starting to gain traction. I’m preaching it to everyone, Muslims and every other religious group aren’t exceptional. We’ve seen how religion has failed to produce good morals in men because of its fanatical and dogmatic nature which strip men off their rational abilities, secular humanism in contrast provides almost everything one can get from religion, and above all values reason, humanity and naturalism.
