It's so nice to see a nice couple like you having a great time together! I wish I had that! In the next six months or so, I'm buying a new 32 foot Class A RV to live and travel in, but sadly, I won't have a wife or girlfriend with me... Outside of my cat, I will be completely alone all the time. I'm 43 years old, and I don't know anybody unfortunately. All of my friends live up north over 850 miles from where I live now. They're all married as well. I'm the only single person in our large group. I'm looking forward to these adventures and continuing to work from my laptop as little, or as many hours as I want, as a day trader... But traveling is never as fun when you're alone. There will be days where I probably won't say a word or even see anybody for the entire day. Ah, who knows what the future will bring though? It's been so long now, that I don't even know how to meet anybody lol. Especially women. Anyway, sorry for the sob story. I really am looking forward to this, and I love traveling, so I will make videos of these adventures. I'm so glad I found your channel! I will subscribe after this comment. Safe travels & best wishes to you both! -Chris
Just drove that route in the opposite direction and luckily missed all those storms. Presently in Page on are way to Moab hoping to check out some of those locations in Oregon you suggested on our way to Washington

On longer / longish travel days, I make sure we either have leftovers or a cauliflower pizza crust we can decorate. Good for you to cook a spaghetti squash! Oh yeah - I'd go that lower route instead of I-10 also - so much better...

Hiii Brisa! Alaska, how fun. We hope to do that road trip one summer in the near future. Safe travels. :)
So....I know where that is and we actually stayed in the same spot as you but the heat scared us off! 😅. Plus we went to see the dark night sky and it was a full moon. Is the sky as dark as they say it is?

We didn't see a ton of stars when we were there but I can only imagine. Hope we get to go back to see. It wasn't too hot when we visited, although a bit warmer than we normally prefer.

I got up one morning before dawn at your magic spot because Venus, Mars, Saturn and Mercury were supposed to be visible before sunrise. Actually it was a day or two late for Mercury, which moves quickly. As I was watching the three planets, a light blinked on at the ridgeline about 30 miles away. At first I thought it was maybe car headlights, but then it rose slowly into the sky--it was Mercury.

How do you keep the cats calm during travel? Our cats howl during the entire time.
@EatSeeRV
7 ай бұрын
Aw poor things. They are used to it by now. Our first truck we kept them in a crate and they hated it and howled now they are free roaming in the RV and don't howl.
After doing this, would you do it again or rather take a plane to your destination. Less costly and less frustrating.
@EatSeeRV
10 ай бұрын
Plane rides are just as annoying if not more. Long drive weeks like this are exhausting but I'm still so happy to have our home with us wherever we go. And can cook our own meals! But it's not for everyone
Hmmm, how much gas? Chevy, aerodynamics of a building, weight of a loaded mini storage. OUCH ! $1338.40 nearest guess without going over ! Dennis, keep those tires inflated please. Maybe a Nascar duct tape treatment will help with your aerodynamics handicap.
@EatSeeRV

Very calculated. I love it, and also very close!
Out of curiosity, where do you keep your cat while traveling? I have six cats, told hubby we’re a package deal…lol I also have a Cane Corso, she has her own seatbelt and harness. Which I wouldn’t be able to do with my cats, they would flip. But I want them to be safe.

Would you recommend a motorhome or a fifth wheel?
@EatSeeRV
10 ай бұрын
We had a fifth wheel to start and are very happy with our switch to a motorhome. Although it is nice to have a tow (separate) vehicle at times.
I'm going to say at least $850.00 based on 2450 miles divided by 10 miles a gallon at $ 3.50 a gallon.

@@EatSeeRV as I drive around, I noticed RVs broken down on the side of the road or they are being towed. Or they’re stuck in traffic they can’t maneuver around an accident. I’m struggling with the advantage of having one I would just rather book a reservation at a nice hotel, and a nice destination and call limousine to drive me there . I see it as a hassle. Sorry too much stress involved. Rather take a plane.
Sure wish you guys were more comfortable stopping and visiting with your KZread followers on your path, but I understand. You are in a hurry, long trip, and the fear of running into some stalker nutjob follower who will just be creepy and a waste of time.
