Exactly how my family friends dad broke his neck and had no heartbeat. Resuscitated and in a wheelchair the rest of this life. Same beach.

Makena shorebreak not the best for people unfamiliar with ocean. Its a closeout(not peeling left or right) still you should turn as soon as you launch so you land on your side, not on your head and neck
