looking to transfer here from community college next spring bro, did you have any more luck with joining a frat in spring? also is it even possible for transfers like me? idk shit.

Yee bro. Just take a semester and you should be good the next semester. 2.5 gpa. I was gonna rush but I’m already old. 26. Came here 2018 but life got me taking longer than I should. But it’s pretty lit if you got the right friend group.

@@abox6562 do I have to attend a semester/get 2.5 gpa at Chico before joining a frat? Bc I already have above 3 here at community. Coming all the way from Jersey bro lol. I just don’t want to get out there and wait around to meet people until the next semester

@@joeyb3889 yeah one semester bro at Chico state. And the bars are good. Mostly pack during the weekends. Honestly if you wanna meet people don’t be afraid to talk to people man. Get involved, meet people in class. Recreational sports, talk to people who vibe with you. Build your network from different majors. Meet international students bro. I know people from Europe to Africa to Asia bro. Just focus on your goals and make time to make friends.

You probably already know because its been like six months but at chico you need basically 12 credits to rush and min of a 2.0 to stay in whatever frat your joining. I've heard that if you aren't over 21 and use a fake some bars like Riley's who have a big rep will literally take the id and like call the cops on you and ban you and shit. so just be careful, idk how old you are but that's just what I heard. and the other person said that the bar scene is good and packed, I can attest to that. @@joeyb3889
