Firstly I am an old man. Everything about this life depends on the threshold you keep for satisfaction , and the willingness and the effort to achieve it. With this there comes two kind of people... One who lower the threshold (mind you, these are not losers) and one who invest to get to to higher threshold not matter what. Two schools of thought .... Equally right.

I got 22k which was not my best sir. I prepared properly for April NEET. After postponement, i was totally not in form. Literally didn't touch book for 3 months sir. Family members were affected by covid and I can't handle studies along with it. My family insisted me to take non clinicals but my dream branch was internal medicine. So i convinced them for another attempt. But you cleared all confusions about my decision sir❤️

@Mohit boys. Let me be of some help. I have written NEET 4 times. Didn't qualify during internship (too much work). Then on I didn't prepare well in 19. In 2020 the exam completely caught me off guard. Got 21k. Was planning on taking Anaesthesia in a private college/DNB but my mind wasn't ready to give up on my dream of GM. My confidence was in the gutter, but i somehow convinced my parents that I have to move out, took up studying again and ended up with a rank less than 6k. I am telling you this, cause its possible. Don't give up without trying, cause you didn't try hard enough. Go for it again.

It is definitely worth it to drop a year for preperation after your maiden neet. I scored 44607 rank last year. I dropped a year (and a half! Thanks covid 😒😒😒😒) and took my first proper prepared NEET. After so many nights of agony and sleeplessness, after so many postponements... I made it to AIR 1237 this year. Chest up and chin up ya'all. Make it count!!

Hello sir, great video.This was my 2nd attempt but I was serving my ug bond while doing it,and while it wasn't my best effort,it wasn't like my 1st attempt where I didn't study at all,I felt I gave a ok effort and with my score I will get paraclinical and I am interested in diagnostic branches like micro,patho,and among clinical the only ones I would consider are pediatrics or skin .so if I'm getting a Paraclinical branch this time ,do you think I should go for it sir?Rather than dropping and trying again because honestly my gut is telling me not to and I really don't feel like dropping too and I do find the diagnostic fields pretty interesting. While I like pediatrics the most it's not like I don't find patho or micro interesting and I'm ready to pursue them

Sir this is my second attempt and got bad rank again , I think it's bcoz I get too much anxious during exam .. I know the ans but during exam I just get blank .. there is too much expectations of my family with me .. plz help me sir how to resolve this ..

A sincere advice to the needy. God bless you sir. Sure that this video will b a game changer to my son going for a second attempt in the coming inicet. He has finished 70 % of marrow videos and continuing since Apr this year. My advice to him was akin to yours. To win a war in 6 days, 6 years of sharpening of sword is required. I have got a 20k rank and willing to get a pg this year... But what bothers me is 1) my low self esteem (like if I am good enough to do this course in the first place) 2) overthinking (what if I regret taking a course ? What if I end up in a bad place than I am in now) etc... So this (what if's) and (can I's) are ruining me... Kindly guide me sir

@@dr5640 yes, many including me are disheartened by this huge difference pertaining to the confusion if we have made lot of mistakes(which is not according to our recalls and got a good score) or there's some fault on the other side. If the 2nd is true why isn't it with everyone? And why only few like me had to suffer with this?

@@Boneteachersir, if some technical glitch has happened and many got less scores than expected, it's more frightening to take a drop year, having no assurance that the same wouldn't happen in future.

Wish I had someone like Dr. Abbas to advise me 12-13 years ago. Wouldn’t have made the mistake of dropping for 4 consecutive years! Just kept on repeating the same mistakes year after year and went into a depression spiral until I finally “cracked” my exam and got in. Follow Dr. Abbas’ advice to the fullest guys and save yourselves from such a situation (like mine). He’s an absolute selfless gem of a person and kudos to him for helping out all prospective PG students! May his tribe increase! 🙏
