I think the smaller gap between Van Gogh and Rembrandt is more due Van Gogh being really good for student grade, this doesn't make Rembrandt less quality. They are great watercolors and you wouldn't notice if the color is less fugitive for example untill years later. But I'm from The Netherlands. And here they are less expensive than american and japanese brands.

Rembrandt is one of my favorite Pro paint lines. Out of all the paint lines, Rem has the most natural colors. (Colors that actually exist in nature) And the quality is excellent. Costs a good bit more in the US but that's to be expected due to import tax. Schmincke is pretty much the same being of high cost in the US just as M Graham is very high cost in Europe. Thanks.

Rembrandt is useful for travel palettes so you don't lose your good or expensive stuff. They also have some rare pigments. All colourfast.

Locally rembrandt is the most expensive brand for all mediums we have available here. Much more then Sennelier or daniel smith (which are pretty expensive already)

This was phenomenally explained, especially the gap between the student and artist grade of each line. I completely agree!

Thank you for your summary and comparison! I completely agree about W&N Cotman vs. W&N Pro. The difference is quite vast and Cotman is the last paint I'd suggest to anyone, especially when there are so many other better options. I have Rembrandt's Dusk Pink and Olive Green on my main studio palette and use them often. Thanks again! 🙏☺️

I have one Rembrandt color on my palette - Spinel Grey PBk26 - it's a single pigment replacement for Neutral Tint.

I really like the Spinel Grey as well. It's so dark black but yet washes out to a really neutral grey like you state! I highly recommend it.

Something I noticed from using watercolors from the USA, Europe, and Asia: European watercolor brands tend to be slightly more muted, not dull but muted enough that you notice a very slight difference in vibrancy when compared to or used together with US or Asian watercolor brands. This includes Schmincke, White Nights, Rembrandt, Lukas, MaimeriBlu, and Winsor & Newton, all of which I still have in my collection. I'd say Sennelier is an exception; it paints as vibrantly as M. Graham because of the honey content. I was surprised about Schmincke when I used it after so many years because other artists lauded the brand as being really vibrant. The muteness isn't a bad thing however; it's more a nature or characteristic of the brand. US brands like Daniel Smith, M. Graham, Da Vinci, and QOR are really vibrant straight out of the tube. Asian brands are more of in between depending on the brand. Holbein, one of my favorites, paints out nicely without being too vibrant or too muted.

I knew you would say raw sienna🤣🤣 I love that color for portraits. I hoarded when they made changes to the range. I live in the US and use a lot of Rembrandt colors. I got most from cheap joes or blick. They have the big tubes- which are a good deal. I wish Rembrandt had a dot card so people could explore. They are one of my favorites and I’ve tried nearly everything. Mandy can’t remember her last name- painted the entire range out and they added a lot of nice pinks (less blue).

haha! well you just proved my point! ;P and i'm glad you can confirm it's good for portraits. oh i know who ur talking about, Mandy's vids were useful for me too! rembrandt does make dot cards, not sure where they're sold. i once emailed them asked them directly... and they offered but the price was like $56 USD or something like that if i remember correctly so i decided against it.

Rembrandt does offer a dot card, and they also offer one for the Van Gogh line. 100% sure because I have both. Both contain all the colors in the range. They even contains all the special colors like the ones made of coated glass in the Rembrandt line, which are so beautiful and unique.

For me, as well Rembrandt was first profession watercolors which I used . And I’m still using it because I live in Europe and as You mentioned there are really reasonable priced here (because they are produced in Amsterdam). My favorites are Aureoline, Perylene red, Prussian blue, Quinacridone orange, Spinel grey and Oxide Black. And I also regret to buy Cobalt turquoise green.

Also, Rembrandt is now bought by Germans. Many of their products, including their Series 100 Kolinsky brushes,(which are some of the best,if not THE best in the market), are made in Germany!!!

Royal Talens products are cheap in Egypt also

Actually, I would buy Van Gogh over Rembrandt any day of the week and twice on Sundays. My Van Gogh paintsare better than the couple of tubes of Rembrandt I have. Van Gogh is seriously better than student quality and they are my absolute favorite "student" brand ever.

I guess it comes down to the individual users experience then, or maybe I just got some bad tubes, because out of the 3 Van Gogh tubes I've bought in the past, all 3 were ejected from my main studio palette when it came time to refresh/update the colors and remove ones I never used. Rembrandt's Dusk Pink and Olive Green on the other hand, are tubes I plan on ordering again when I run out.

PR207 is not a strongly tinting pigment. The Schmincke PR207 is also medium tinting.

Hi Vee. I really enjoy your content, you bring to us so much information with so many details! You found a good way to ilustrate the difference between student and professional grade! Here (in Brazil) Rembrandt is one of the most affordable watercolor professional brand. For me it works, their range is ok, dries well, easy to rewet and easy to find. It's a nice brand to buy expensive colors, like cadmiums and cobalts (which I love), I also love their French Ultramarine (influenced by Irit 😋). The Quin Red is very similar to Schmincke Quin Red Light (also PR207). I only had problem with Gold Ochre and Cobalt Green (both discontinued) which came with a lot of binder. I also don't like their Quin Rose Reddish, for me is too weak. Thank you Vee! 🥰

hihi~ :D ah yes, i agree. if anyone can find rembrandt affordably, the cobalts and cadmiums are value for money. awww, i'm sorry you had bad experiences with those two colours that 'came with a lot of binder'. i think maybe it was just binder separation. if u mixed it back in i think maybe it would've been ok. always mix heavy metals and earth colours before squeezing out of tubes ;D

French ultramarine is so pretty and bright, and it granulates so nicely!

Very interesting to watch this video as I've only recently been trying Rembrandt paints. I decided to try them after seeing how well they can be mixed by KZread watercolour artist Robert Mee. They are definitely an economical choice of watercolour paints, yet the have strong pigmentation and many have good transparency. I live in Madrid, Spain, where the prices for Rembrandt paints are very reasonable from local stores and online art stores like Artemiranda. In the art store Jeco Bellas Artes in Madrid, they often have these paints in the bargain bucket too.

This is interesting. Good to hear your thoughts on them. I’ve used Cotman and Van Gogh and like both, though Van Gogh’s are maybe a bit punchier, idk, I don’t see Cotman being that bad. My first pro palette of 24 was Winsor and Newton and it was hugely discounted, idk why. I compared the two WN ranges and some of the hues in Cotman seemed better than the pro versions, an obvious one is Viridian cos the real pigment is often low-tinting while the hue is made stronger. Now I’ve used other brands more, half those WN pro paints are rarely used cos they’re weaker or a bit dull in comparison so I find the brand is very hit and miss for pro watercolour (now I wonder why that set was on sale). I love the permanent rose, indigo and payne’s grey, and their watermixable oil paints are lovely. I’ve just got a few Rembrandt pans on sale and they’re fine except for a purple which dries dull, maybe again why it was on sale, I’m not sure. I would have bought more earlier, but now I’ve found Roman Szmal and Daniel Smith, they’re much more interesting. Rembrandt is affordable, though, and also vegan which is nice, some people don’t want honey in everything.

the viridian ur talking about… pro is made with PG18 genuine viridian which is naturally lowtinting and granulates. that is the property of the pigment. where as cotman is a hue made with PG7 phthalo green which is naturally high tinting and non granulating. the rembrandt purple that dries dull is called “drying shift”. this happens to many colours and is a property of some colours that artists need to be aware of. it does not mean the pigment is bad. all the sales and clearances you’re buying from does not mean paint has gone bad. it’s usually the case that they’re making room for new stock.

Hey Vee, how are you, sweetie? I finally tried some Rembrandt, and I haven`t find one of my first 4 tubes on your chart. I`m happy to say I love the three colors: French ultramarine (although a tinge cooler), Quin burnt orange PO48 and Lavender. The fourth is Dusk pink which is also fine, but so is Van Gogh`s. And that one was the only tube with some binder separating. I also have PR207 in Horadam range, and it is lower tinting paint as well. I love your Rembrandt range, I wouldn`t mind if these paints were readily available to me. Thank you for this well made video! Hugs!

Also the 207 from Qor is relativly low in tinting strength. I think the PR209 Quins are stronger.

Thank you for that video! I recently discovered Rembrandt watercolors, because they are much more affordable than Schmincke (in Germany). I only have a few colors, but I plan to buy more when I used up some of the schmincke colors. The PY110 from Rembrandt seems to be more intense and dark, compared to Schminckes PY110. PBk11 from Rembrandt is more blue leaning than Schminckes PBk11, which leans a bit to brown. I also have PV32, which is a beautiful strong color, but it doesn’t hold up in my own lightfast tests. Of all the watercolors I have, this is the one which faded the fastest. It is rated 3 of 3 stars for lightfastness in the Rembrandt range, if I remember correctly. I also have some of their very sparkly coated glass colors. I just love them 😍 I only use them as accents, for example as sparkle on water. Now at Christmas cards I experiment with using them a bit more. Christmas time is sparkle time, isn’t it? 🤔😄✨

Great video! There’s not a lot of talk about Rembrandt, I did few videos for the Italian audience. I enjoy them quite much, actually, also for the price itself. Ahahha I indeed bought and use raw sienna for portraits! It is weak but it glows, it stays light and transparent, yellow ochre which is very similar in tone is too creamy, too opaque, I have both in the same palette, but yes, raw sienna from Rembrandt is suitable for painting lighter pale skintones in watercolor for sure! Oxide black is so luscious, I use Venice red A LOT, mixed with indanthrene blue makes the best neutrals. A mmmhh is Indanthrene, it’s a bit cool looking compared to my favourite ones which are from Sennelier (the best imo) and White Nights, but in mixes is fine. Indigo too… I don’t quite like it. Perylene Red is … oh gosh.. it’s the color of blood, is rich and full of character, it’s a stunning warm and deep red, all reds are not so dark, they all fall in the light-mid tonal value, but perylene goes a step further, it’s like a red ready to become an earth color but still not earthy enough 😂 Sap green is hella bright, very fun but a bid tedious to use in portraits, it’s the only pre-made green I have in that palette, but mixed with oxide black it’s the best. Overall I give them a solid 8, they’re fun and have some wow colors and a lot of “average”. Same place as White Nights, and definitely below Mijello!

the Cotman WN gap is different for the tubes and precut pans. I hate the Cotman pans but love the tubes. Similarly, I love the Van Gogh tubes but am only meh on the pans- but its not as bad as the Cotman Cotman gap. So maybe like:

i haven't tried all the brands out there but even then i don't believe in a 'best' brand. most artist grade quality watercolours rival one another and the only thing that makes one brand 'less' than another, in my opinion, is that each individual colour in their range might not match up to expectations. as mentioned in this video, every brand has its hits or misses. for example, i love mijello for their pure pigment colours but i dont like their earth colours. i love that DS offers many different varieties of colours and pigments but some colours like potter's pink are rubbish and useless. all this and we haven't gottten to the topic of price yet. lol. W&N says ttheir pans and tubes are diff formulas so idk, u might see a difference. for me personally, w&n isn't accessible for me so i only have a couple tubes or so... i haven't seen any difference between wet or dry.

i'm assuming you're in the USA? rembrandt brands are no longer available on jackson's USA site but still available on the UK site. i can only assume it's something to do with trade agreements as the brand sakura is also no longer available on the USA site and i believe they're under the same conglomerate. as for other options, i dont know where in the world u are but another website with worldwide shipping is artemiranda... or szal... or maybe momarte. i haven't checked if they have rembrandt and if they're affordable for u. have fun shopping!

I wouldn't consider any of what you're saying a bad thing, just "good to know" as those things may be exactly what qualities someone is looking for. It's fair to say you don't like it, personally, though. I think the thing to remember with high quality artist supplies is that there is a lot of variation in hue, texture, tinting strength, and you have to know yourself as an artist and how you like to paint. After a point it's less "this is bad" and more "this duesn't fit my needs" as very rarely are artist grade supplies bad. Thanks for the update, that palette looks beautiful.

Hi, thanks for the video. I don't know if you know that (or I already mentioned it before), but Daniel Smith bought big amounts of PO48 and said that they can make their paints for around 10-15 years still. So at least one brand will be able to give us that beautiful color and gives everyone who loves it time to stock up. 😊 (I already did stock up but will definitely buy some DS tubes over the next year's because I love the color). How did you get that many pans on that tray? 😳 I love that Rosa Gallery and white nights offers ones without a brush space, but you've gotten even more on it. 🤔

@@PaintinHiding Thanks so much for the info, will need to try that. I don't like how much space you loose because of the brush space, never use it anyway. Yes, definitely. At least they still have some, hopefully for a while. And I think the good thing that Daniel Smith has said they can supply for so many years is that you have a lot of time to safe money. 10-15 years is a very long time so that is great. I have PO48 from Rembrandt and Daniel Smith, DS is a lot more pigmented but I think Rembrandt is good as well, especially if you don't need it to be super dark (and I rarely do) it doesn't make so much difference. And you get more ml for a lot less money, at least here in Germany Rembrandt is very cheap and DS is very expensive.

Do they only seem to me rather „liquidy“? Or are they more liquid than other Pro Watercolors?

the more liquidy ones i believe were newly imported so were still 'fresh' which i'm not entirely sure if that makes a difference, but i have experience with some of their colours being more viscous.

How is your experience with rembrandts py128 or transparent yellow medium? Its quite a rare pigment and im wondering about its properties??

I am also really curious what others think of it, since you don't find a lot of information about this paint. I bought a PY128 Tube of van Gogh some weeks ago and so far I enjoyed it a lot. Probably the Rembrandt paint is even better but until now I couldn't find any comparison on the internet. I can't say something about the lightfastness, but PY128 is great for mixing, because it is so transparent and makes vibrant colors. I even replaced the lemon yellow (which is PY184, quite opaque) of my 12+3 van Gogh palette with this color. No regrets so far 😄 If I had to choose just one yellow of all my colors, I think I would probably choose Py128, because it is a nice middle yellow and although it is transparent not quite as much as Py150, so in my opinion mixing is easier. I think I fell in love with this color ❤😂😂

their PY128 is much more transparent than, say, the typical middle yellow made with PY154. however, if layered, it can be semi-transparent. where there any other properties u wanted to know? for me, i like to highlight its transparency because it’s hard to find a truly transparent middle yellow

Rembrandt is WAY over priced in the US, so is Schminke (worse though.) I’m so happy I found an amazing deal on Amazon this year, because Rembrandt watercolors are definitely in my top 3 favorites.

I have to agree with you about where to place Rembrandt. If you are in the US, then you have brands of similar price but more consistent (like WN, Daniel Smith). Van Gogh are so much better as student grade and so well priced, I recommend them for classes where people will try not to invest so much in a starter set. However Rembrandt has a few colors I love such as their Permanent Red Violet, which I often use as my cool red in a split pallete. Quin Rose Magenta works the same they're PV-19 and kind of work as the primary magenta in a triad of yellow, cyan and magenta. But since in the US, Daniel Smith is priced similarly, for any blues or yellows, that's the brand I would choose instead.

rembrandt's quin rose magenta is PR122. but with everything else, i agree with you~ i like perm red violet as well but i always gravitate towards my PR122 as i feel it's more vibrant. i've never met anyone who uses perm red violet as their magenta so nice to meet you! ;D

I made a set of Van Gogh and Rembrandt.after I got the 12+3 of awesomeness pocket box. Daniel Smith 2.5ml half pans, cost 16$ here, where the 10ml tube from talens, cost 2$ for Van Gogh and 4$ for Rembrandt. If you do the math, Rembrandt cost 1$ and the Van Gogh cost 0.50 cents for 2.5ml compared to the 16$ that the 2.5nl Daniel Smith costs. That's ridicilus!! The Talens Rembrandt Series 100 Kolinsky, is their highest value product.The no8 costs only 19 euro, same brush from Da Vinci costs 70 euro,and the Rembrandt, is probably better too! (Both are made in Germany.Talens was bought by Germans.They upgraded reformulated the paints to a better quality since then!!)

How curious. I particularly love the Rembrandt raw sienna. I love its softness and light velvety touch. But I do paint portraits so that might be why. The gold ochres are always too opaque. I must say that in most cases I prefer Rembrandt to Winsor and Newton exactly for the same reason people prefer van gogh over cotman. Activation/Rewetabbility and creaminess. Rembrandt is velvety, creamy, very fluid. Winsor and Newton is often harsh (it feels like I'm struggling to get any paint at all) and hard to rewet. If you think Rembrandt raw sienna is weak try to use Winsor and Newton green earth or potters pink. Beautiful shades and colors, but packing pigment is a struggle. For me the main issue with Rembrandt is that the colours from the pan paints might be slightly (almost non existing mind) different from the tubes. My favourite b look ue across all the brands of MANY I have is Rembrandts indathrone blue. But the first I tried was the pan version, and for some reason it felt the tube refill I got was never as complex, although being the exact same color. Something was missing that I still can't put my finger on. In terms of ease of use and color punch I'll probably always choose Rembrandt instead of winsor and newton, unless I really want a particular take on a particular color. Also Rembrandt is more affordable than WN in Europe outside the uk.

In Brazil is cheaper as well. And not difficult to find. I don’t much like it. In fact between Rembrandt and Van Gogh, Rembrandt is a disappointment. White Nights by Nevskaya Palitra is a better brand and cheaper. And really easy to find here. It’s a Russian brand. But whenever I can, I stay with Daniel Smith. More reliable. I do like Winsor & Newton and Schmincke. But they are more expensive and a bit harder to find. Maimeri Blu is an interesting brand as well, but I hardly choose to buy their tubes. I don’t know why exactly.

Rembrandt is indeed very cheap in Europe, you can find them for 5 euros per 10ml tube.

ah! that was actually also viridian but i found the pan form was harder to rewet than the tube formula.

I've never found a viridian that rewets, so I use phthalo green instead

@@MandaPanda254 viridian is a lowtinting colour. so you may have mistaken the lowtinting strength for 'hard to rewet'. davinci and schmincke have viridians that rewet well.

How would you compare Rembrandt to: Schmincke, Daniel Smith, Rosa galleria, Mission Gold?

@@bookishindian i've had great experiences with schmincke. i'm not sure what soupy means... maybe you're using too much water or maybe you mean that it rewets extremely well and maybe that's just not your preference. i'm not sure how to troubleshoot. sorry

Question... Is the PB26 a typo on your swatch sheet for Cobalt Turquoise Green? Was this supposed to be PG26?...I've seen it in your other videos that way, as well this is how its labeled online. I went on a search to see what PB26 was as I wasn't familiar with it when I saw this video. I thought I would ask, so I wasn't fruitlessly looking for it 😂

I'm in the process of buying my first professional quality watercolors, and I simply struggle to stick to one brand. My question is - is it a bad idea to use several different brands for the same painting? Obviously the paint formulas would not be the same, so I wonder if there's any chance of the paints "fighting" each other if I mix them freely 😅

not a bad idea at all. i personally use multiple brands in a palette myself. paint formula differences between brands isn’t something we need to be too concerned about as the consumer. when it comes to real world application, they’re all inter-mixable. hope that helps 😊

I agree with your assessment. Van Gogh is so much better than Cotman (although Cotman used to be SO much better in the old days -- my tubes from the early 90s are amazing and were such a deal! They are so weak tinting now!) I think Grumbacher Academy easily surpasses Cotman now, and yes Van Gogh is really great for student grade. I have only tried a few Rembrandt -- bought the Quin Purple Blueish for pigment nerding, and the Quin Purple Reddish in the Van Gogh. Both great, and they do fall just on the warm and cool sides of purple. I also have some of the Dusk colors that a friend sent, and they are very nice. But yeah, I remember your video showing their weird versions of turquoise that are oddly named. It kind of reminds me of Mission Gold's "Cobalt Green Deep" that's really a muted shade of Cobalt Turquoise. But, we *expect* weird names from Mission Gold 🤣 KZread is USA-centric, and Rembrand is just expensive in the US for what it is. But the European watercolorists really appreciate it. It just makes sense to favor watercolors that are easily available and less expensive in one's part of the world, right?

yeah, i got a few grumbacher academyy from a friend and i definitely think it's also better than cotman. truth be told, i think a lot of the chinese brand cheap sets are also better than cotman. everything seems better in comparison, lol, i wonder what went wrong in their decision-making process

@@PaintinHiding When I first dragged my watercolor stuff out of the garage after not touching it for 30 years, I made the mistake of going to the craft store and buying 3 new Cotmans and one Grumbacher. The Grumbacher was fine (except it panned up horribly cracked -- my old ones pan beautifully!) Even as someone who knew NOTHING, I was like "What is wrong with these Cotmans? I can't get masstone in a swatch!" Shortly after, I used one when painting large and was horrified to be able to see filler. When a beginner can see a paint sucks it MUST be bad. I can't believe W&N puts their name on those.

PSA: Daniel Smith bought up all the PO48 when it was announced it would be discontinued and he himself has said that he has enough to make his Quin Rust (PO 48) and Quin Gold (PO 48 and PY150) for decades. Yes. Decades. BUT. I did stock up on the Winsor and Newton version cuz I also love that one too, LOL!

i heard about that too. not sure about decades, i heard "20 years" so idk~ but yeah, i'm not too concerned myself because i could live without but DS isn't affordable to a lot of people so i thought i'd mention it in this vid so people could keep a lookout u know? but youu're right! if anyone regularly buys DS, no need to panic for years to come

Mmm... Did you personally hear his say decades? Because I heard him say and also personally asked him to make sure and got a reply, that they have a PO48 stock to last for at least 15 years. That was about a couple of years ago and that was the exact number of years he stated in his reply to me, as well as on a couple of videos I've watched.

@cccsssish Mmmmm? What was that for? yes. Like I said, that was what he himself said. And this was a few years ago too. AND it was the same thing he told other YTers in videos I have watched too. When I heard that PO 48 was going to be discontinued i reached out. And that is what I was told. Decades. And as you can see, several people were told several things. Because Daniel Smith and the people at his company care about making their business money, not making sure they say the same exact answer when random people with no pull in the actual industry ask them a question about a pigment.

thank you the only reason have not tried them is i shop amazon and these are way to pricey for me ,i have oh so many paints so im slowing down ,my paul rubens and mission gold are affordable and beautiful .

you and me both gina! i'm also slowing down. trying my best not to buy anymore sets or pigments i already have. and only buying to replace/refill. i love mission gold as well! i only have paul rubens glittter/metallic colours. not in a rush to try their range but the 4th gen colours are enticing!

Amazing analysis! Even living in Netherlands I don’t think Rembrandt is a perfect value for money overall. I’m a big fan of their Cobalt Violet Bright though

I've bought some old range Rembrant watercolor from online store clearance two years ago and it smelled soooooo awfulll. I wonder whether you've met this issue when you purchased yours!

hi! you have such a cute username ;D ok so yes, since i bought my old range from clearance as well, they were smelly too! but i noticed the earth colours were smelly whereas the others (like ult blue, phthalo green,etc) were tolerable. however, after pouring them out and letting them cure in pans/palettes, the smell dissipates after a while. i wouldn't say it's an issue as this happens with all brands of paint, no matter the quality. it's just something that happens like how aged cheese can become stinkier overtime but still edible. i don't know for sure but i have a feeling that whether the pigments used in each colour... if they're organic, it might be stinkier faster compared to synthetics maybe? i'm not a chemist so i don't know. just a theory.

Since that I've also bought some Maimeriblu old range from clearance before, I was simply not ready for it to be so smelly 😂 But it's also true that because I purchased an air-tight palette around the same time, I've kept the paint inside with the lid on once dried, since I assumed the extreme smelliness won't go off ,and trapped all the smelliness in the palette. I'll give it more time in the air this time to make sure the odor dissipate❤ p.s. My username is simply my favorite fruit combined with my favorite animal, glad that you find it cute!

Your chart doesn't have any box that says Raw Sienna, although you do mention it... Is there another color you meant?

How is the Viridian PG18 now? Has it changed for the better? I remember you saying it was rather weak with little granulation.

​@@PaintinHidingI love Rembrandt viridian in oil colour and I thought It would be the same in watercolour. But no, I am disappointed with their watercolour version. It is too light and weak. A viridian which is dark seems to be an exception, so I'll choose Phtalo green blue shade instead. Da Vinci viridian ist said to be quite dark but it is not available in Germany. At least I haven't found it.

Rembrandt always seemed so interesting to me, unfortunately they are pricey to purchase and ship to where I live 😅

I love Rembrandt and Van Gogh paints so much. I disagree with w&n being better than Rembrandt, with the exception of a couple of amazing standout colors. Specifically the potter's pink obviously. As for cotman yeah... I thought they were not all what they were hyped up to be, but that might be because I started with Van Gogh, lol Although cotman intense blue is insane and I plan on buying a big tube, because damn, that one lives up to its name. I also think price is quite the contributing factor when making decisions. And living in the Netherlands, I know these paints are most available to me as well

I can say about Ukraine. Rembrandt's watercolors are available by 6 to 7.7$ for 15ml tube and for 3.8$ for half pan. It's expensive, but more affordable than Daniel Smith and W&N👌But we have ukrainian pro brand Rosa Gallery, that is something in the middle between Van gogh and Rembrandt. And it's quite cheap. 2.5$ for 10 ml tube and 1.6$ for full pan

Windsor and newton is cheaper and not as good as Rembrandt best is Old Hollandse meester or old Holland masters . Rembrandt ,Van Gogh are from Talens and old holland masters also .they come from the Netherlands . I paint with oil paint from all and i use them all and the old Hollandse master are the best and the expensive . In my opinion.
