WHAT MY KIDS EAT IN A DAY | DAY 55
What My Kids Eat in a Day - Day 55 RECIPES
Breakfast: Kylie Jenner's Banana Pancakes
*Ingredients:
2 bananas
2 cups Bisquick (or any pancake mix)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons brown sugar (or more to taste)
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Add bananas into a large bowl and mash, add remaining ingredients and mix just until combined. Set aside for 10 minutes.
-Add a bit of butter into a pan and ladle about 1/4 cup batter into the pan. Once you see bubbles at the top, flip and cook for another 2 minutes. Keep warm in the oven while you cook the rest.
*this recipe was doubled from the original
Lunch: Pasta with Peas and Bacon
Ingredients:
16 oz pasta of choice
1 cup grated parmesan
8 oz bacon, cut into small pieces
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup peas
1 tablespoon butter, optional
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Cook the pasta in some boiling water per package directions. Save about 2 cups of pasta water (very important).
- Cook the bacon in a bit of oil until crispy. Remove into a paper towel lined plate and discard all but about a tablespoon of the grease. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Add the peas, a pinch of salt and about 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Cook for about a minute then add the pasta and parmesan cheese. Stir to combine and add the pasta water until it reaches your desired consistencies, 1/2 cup at a time.
- Remove from heat and add the bacon pieces, be sure to reserve some for garnish.
- Add a serving into a bowl and sprinkle with more parmesan and bacon.
Smoothies: Spinach Pineapple
Into a blender add 1 orange, a handful of spinach and 1/2 cup water. Blend until smooth. Add 1.5 cups of frozen pineapple and 1 frozen banana. Blend again until smooth and divide into 2 cups.
Dinner: Honey Garlic Shrimp
Ingredients:
1.5 shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 teaspoon each: salt, onion powder, garlic powder and 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 cup cornstarch
6 cloves garlic, minced
Oil for cooking
Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions:
- Season the shrimp with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and white pepper. Add the cornstarch and give it another toss. Set aside.
- Combine the ingredients for the sauce and set aside.
- Cover the bottom of your skillet with oil and let it get really hot. Sear the shrimp for about 2 minutes on each side, be sure to do it in batches as to not overcrowd the pan. Remove the shrimp and discard all but about 2 tablespoons of the grease.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Pour in the sauce and let it simmer for about 2 minutes. Add the shrimp back into the pan and cook for just 2 more minutes.
- Serve with rice and garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
Dessert: Chocolate and Peanut Butter Chip Cookies
Recipe: lilluna.com/christmas-cookies/
I added about 1/2 cup each of the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips (should have added more) and I also added more on time.
.....and that's it. I hope you guys have enjoyed this video, I will see you next time. Bye

Children are not props to be displayed on social media, they deserve to have privacy. We need to protect and limit children’s digital footprint and not encourage them to be used as contents ❤

Absolutely. I’ve missed doing these videos ❤️
Winny, I am curious to see your kids lunch boxes after school. How much of their lunch do they eat? I love all of your ideas, everything is well balanced. I would also be interested in what you make for yourself on a daily basis.
I wish I can be involved in my kids nutrition as much as you in the future! 😊♥️
Have missed watching your videos these months! So good to see you back here with all the delicious recipes ❤
I enjoy watching your videos Winny! You’re amazing
These videos give me great ideas for meals to make our little one and the whole family loves it too!
I love your ideas and recipes ,thank you so much !!!
Thank you for sharing
You don't need to show your kids. Ppl determined and bugging about it need to get a life. But keep up the yummy what my kids eat. I have a 3 year old little girl. My goal for 2023 is to cook more healthy meals for her. I even got my a ninja foodi to help make some meals easier.
thank u so much for putting the recipes in the description!! ❤️
What a Beautiful mom you are preparing such nice meals for your children. Mom’s hands are blessed. Everything my mom cooks or bakes tastes extra special to me. GOD bless you and your family more, Mrs. Winny♥️🙏🏽
Your kids are so lucky. I grew up in a very wealthy home in Ecuador and have never had a home cooked meal by my mom because we grew up by a staff and no one in my family knew how to cook because someone else did it for them. I never had a home cooked meal by someone in my family until I was 24 in the US and married my husband.

It doesn't even seem like she is ungrateful. All she is simply saying is that, she wishes she had a home cooked meal as a child buy her family, not a chef. For her mother or father to cook a meal for her instead of a "stranger" . everyone read to into things anymore, and looks past what they are actually trying to say.

What? I was lucky to have a chef. Absolutely. But I was never allowed in the kitchen, I never got to experience what making a meal looked like. I never get to see my mom make eggs or help mix something. It's not being ungrateful for what I had it's missing what I didn't.

@Lilman Yellow nowhere in my comment did I say I was ungrateful. I said I wish I had a home cooked meal by my mom and was part of the cooking.

Also, I wanted to ask this.. how do you avoid strong smells from heavily seasoned foods in the bentgo boxes etc My son tells me that when I serve him leftovers in his bentgo box that the smell is too overwhelming and makes the other food in his box smell weird. Didn’t know if there is a trick to this, or maybe he just prefers having leftover in a thermos. Please never stop making these videos , you have inspired me to be more creative with lunches and I truly enjoy putting it all together, because of you! ❤
These look yummy!

Thank you for sharing these yummy recipes! I have a 14 year old and 11 year old and my 11yo is still very picky! Where did you get your yellow pan? What brand is it? And where did you get your oil dispenser? I like it!
You are very talented and beautiful women... thanks for sharing your fentastic recipe's thanks dear
I LOVE these videos, although I'm not sure my kids would eat all those amazing meals because they're really picky, especially my 4yo. I think I'll start trying them out though and see what happens! Another thing I'd like to know is, do they eat their meals in those nice divided trays when they're at home? My sons are 7 and 4 and I am wondering whether I should get some for them. .
Even though I am vegetarian these look really healthy to me 😍😋😋
do you have a amazon storefront??? if not, you need one, you make me want to buy everythingggggg!!

@@rashanahenderson-waldung5345 My mom and aunts usually prepare many things in advance so once it's time they could just cook it fast. Like my first aunty usually freeze veggies stock and minced garlic/onions, or meat that had been cut into smaller cubes, etc, while my mom could cut/marinate the meat the night before. I myself usually just let the frozen meat out in the morning and cut/cook it later during noon or evening.
For the cookies I'm using chocolate 🍫

I love your videos and honestly the people asking to see your kids are mad weird like be for real because for one this is the moms page not the kids and what’s wrong with a mom not wanting to show her kids also if she did show them sometimes they don’t want to be on camera but all in all this is her channel and if she chooses not to show her kids you should respect that I love to see these cooking videos though and I love seeing you get creative
I’m sure you answered this question a million and one times but to someone who just found and started watching your videos where do you get all your kids lunchboxes

The pasta that you made is called carbonara. Absolutely delicious
@WinnyHayes
Жыл бұрын
I thought carbonara has eggs in it?
@sabrinarina4
Жыл бұрын
It’s not carbonara. Carbonara uses a creamy egg and parmesan mixture to be incorporated with the pasta and she didn’t use eggs or Parmesan.
Actually, your two children think you like foods that you made. I love to eat the kids that they eat the day. It is not as bad as I thought. :)
What do your kids look like?
🍯🧄🍤🍚
A long story but I’ll cut out all the story, what happened blah blah…a lady in a craft group was taking another lady’s children’s pics and passing them off as her grandchildren in another group! Creepy
