YES, something that is severely lacking in society. I wish it was more en vogue to be beautiful inside and with character instead of a lot of women describing themselves as B---ches. I don't know a man alive that thinks that is sexy. I know they try to adopt it as empowerment, but it just doesn't come off that way.

Totally agree with you! The """""problem""""" with aging women is that they're of """"""no use"""""" to society (AKA men) anymore: they can't have children or they're not """beautifully""" young anymore, so they can't be a trophy for them.... Also, older women have power, they have so much knowledge and when men realized that, old women went from being old wise women to being evil witches. So there's an issue of power here, too. Everyone chooses their own paths, both India and her mother are absolutely stunning. I personally think it'd be amazing to see women age naturally in all happiness.

@@meredith18352 I guess because I still act & feel 40. I can still do the splits, a former gymnast & have more energy than most people half my age. I don't think I look any younger, but have no gray hair yet & no age spots due to sun avoidance, wearing long sleeves everyday, gloves & a hat when I drive plus broad spectrum sunscreen daily.

awww I think she would love to film her own videos !! The problem is that’s only a small part of the job 😥 most of the time I’m setting up camera settings, dragging lights around, editing videos in Final Cut Pro etc. And my mom isn’t technologically savvy 😰 she’s the first to admit it. I also find that my hands have aged dramatically, but I try to immediately start reviewing all the amazing and loving things that they have accomplished and I am overwhelmed with pride and gratitude. You guys are gorgeous and awesome! I’ve had Botox on my forehead three times. The session in a dermatologists office was by far the longest lasting. I am 56 years old and leaving the option of having a facelift open. My mother-in-law is 85 years old and had a facelift in her late 50s. She looks natural but just a super beautiful for her age lady. It helps that she was a fashion consultant for decades and still dresses stylish plus makes an effort ~ hair, makeup, etc. I saw a string facelift on KZread for one of my favorite Influencers and she looks amazing. Women can be so cruel to each other and I just don’t get it. My grandmother said, “if you don’t have something nice to say ~ keep your mouth shut!”

See that is kinda how I am starting to think. I will be 34 next month and I have just scheduled my first botox treatment and have started retinal. I've also finally gotten bsck into the gym, eating right and aleeeping better after having my daughter 3 yrs ago. I think late 50s for a preventative face lift is perfect, like you said, she looks like a naturally pretty woman for her age. How did u like botox? I'm kinda nervous but excited.

I agree 100% with what you said “women can’t win nor lose” you’re so right talking from my own experience, I was bullied and it drove me to get plastic surgery, the same ppl who bullied me now criticize me for getting surgery … we can’t win nor lose

I am your mom's age. I have had EVERYTHING done above my neck. It was quite an investment. My neck is droopy because they removed my thyroid. I do believe in fixing what bothers me. My face lift has fallen. I had it done when I was 45. I also need them to take the skin off of my eyelids so they don't droop. I am a believer in fixing what bothers you. Kathleen is perfect and does not need anything! Love to both of you!

We need to be thankful and appreciative of what we have at every age

Just discovered your channel as there aren't many featuring ladies of my generation (I'm 64) & wow what a gorgeous mother & daughter (those blue eyes are just stunningly beautiful). Love the rapport between mom & daughter which reminded me of what I had with my late mother. Also, appreciate the honesty about women & aging, along with Kathleen's advice to look at the beauty of God's creation in you. I too worked as a model thru my 20's, a late bloomer at 22, so a PR person decided to lop a few years off & make me 18 (to 'extend my professional shelf life' since back then at 28-30 you were considered old). And even at 22 I already could feel the 14 & 15-year-old breathing down my back soon replace me, all those new fresh young unlined faces! At 25-26 I was already making plans for 'retirement' from the business & starting another career path (which turned out to be real estate which has much greater longevity to be sure). Honestly, when I hit 28 I already felt 'over the hill'. Maybe I was more critical of my looks then, being constantly surrounded by a bevy of young, beautiful people & having a gazillion photos taken, seeing myself close-up from every possible angle. I had a slight bump to the bridge of my nose which I'd never even noticed before then ( & hadn't been an issue at the agency I worked for or impeded getting jobs) so I decided to have it fixed & my mom was very upset about this & being a good Christian woman said exactly what Kathleen did, to go look in the mirror at the beauty God created & be grateful. She always reminded me it was what was inside that mattered most & not to be so fixated on myself but to look outward. She also said one day I would look back at the magazines, etc. I was in & say 'was that me?'. And yes I've done that, just lately as a matter of fact when cleaning my closet & coming across my old portfolio. I look back & think did that girl ever dream she'd be the woman she is today & have the life she's lived the many decades since. What's that expression, 'life's what happens to you when you're busy making plans' I'm paraphrasing but am sure you know what I mean. Here's to us gals who've made it to our 6th decade🥂🎉🎈🏆!!!

So nice to see your mother again! Yeah getting older is a hard one. I feel it! I’m 51 and see my face wrinkling and drooping, and lord I do not like my side profile anymore 😬. Then there’s that little thing called menopause and one day I woke up and was like 15 pounds heavier 🤷‍♀️. However I love this age because I’ve finally matured enough to say “I don’t give two craps what people think of me no more”! “If ya don’t like it then don’t look!!”

Love this. Have made it a habit to see myself differently and just love myself more since I had my daughter. I don't want her growing up hearing or seeing me put myself down the way my beautiful mum put herself down and was so hypercritical of herself.
