Interesting fact, when I got Mehndi done for my wedding 10 years ago, I didn’t get filled finger tips. BUT if I were to do my bridal Mehndi over again I definitely would have! Interesting how your designs preferences can change over time ❤

“you either love it or you don’t” I know nothing about traditional henna… but have never not loved ANYTHING you have done girl! 😭 I can’t bring myself to not love henna designs because of the uniqueness in every design, and because of the sheer amount of work put into each little detail!

That was beautiful …. According to indian customs mehandi of a bride should cover her whole hand ( this is what most indian brides do) and ur mehandi covered your full hands moreover it looked so beautiful and aesthetic too 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’m half Persian and half trini and my grandparents on my moms side were in touch with their Indian roots but I never really connected much with that side since it was generationally removed (like I think 3-4 generations) but since both have passed away I’ve considered if I ever get married to get mehndi to honour that side of my heritage but idk if it’d be appropriation since my family is so far removed from that part of their heritage 😅

I love watching this because it reminds me of being a cookie and cake decorator, which is what I do so sing the flute come out to draw off of the designs just reminds me of decorating a cookie and a cake with icing and frosting and I love the way you used your cones to draw, and I’m wondering if I could do the same thing with my icing bags Because I don’t use parchment paper like some people do but now I’m beginning to think that maybe I’m doing it all wrong. Do you have antutorial on how to make those bags that you use to draw?
