Am I the only one who doesn't do that? I just destroy all the houses and use the resources to make the biggest house bigger and put all there jobs and beds in it. It keeps them safe from dying and I can easily monitor them because I usually make a second floor where my part of the base is.

I don’t just kill the villagers, I use them as a testing ground for my homemade Minecraft explosives

Last time I played I literally created a prison camp for villagers Edit: too many people think I'm Hitler, it was more because I'd killed the iron golemn of their village to make a bucket and that left them defenseless against the mobs so I made a camp for them and moved them to our player village and I built a stone wall and metal gates around it to stop them wandering and thus the prison camp was born. Edit 2: I still may have tormented those villagers and killed a few for my entertainment but I protect them from the mobs and it's not like they can ever prosecute me for my crimes.

I’ve done that before, I’ve also made research facilities for zombie villagers 😂 sacrificing a few villagers here and there to the zombies I captured so I can make zombie villagers then work on a cure 💀 and I do it all in survival, making finding a cure more difficult
