Once when I was just out of high school, I laid a 286ft burn out with a 96 chevy 1500 with a 5 speed. Launched in 1st shifted to 4th, but I had to drop it back into 3rd to keep it going. 200 people were screaming.... Probably the most awesome burn out I've done

Ford 136 cu in (2.2 L) V8-74[14] version was introduced in the United States in 1937. With 2.6 by 3.2 in (66 by 81 mm) bore and stroke and 6.6:1 compression, the engine was rated 60 hp (45 kW) and 94 lb·ft (127 N·m).[14] The designation changed again in 1939, to V8-922A, but the specifications remained the same. This could be the smallest V8

The V10s are a better option than a diesel if you want a working truck for yourself, but aren't going to drive it everyday or in a fleet situation methinks. The ford ones are the same. No expensive injectors or pump to stuff up, if something flogs out you can fix it yourself in your driveway with parts from autozone, and if a crank bearing spins, the block is reusable.

I'd really like to see you guys be old a replicated version of the old Mickey Thompson setup with compressed air supercharging using 2 air tanks in the trunk that are setup to run like turbos but its all just compressed air being forced into the carb. I've seen this setup before and watched it safely make a 400hp small block crank out a little over 800hp on the dyno and they didn't even have to do any changes to the motor to make those gains. I'd like to see you guys build a same type setup for one of your cars and put it to the test!

A beautiful burnout usually is done with a pickup truck. Smoke should pour out between the cab and bed, then make "Wings" away from the tires, like you get when you have side pipes dumped in front of the tires.

I put a 12 bolt 3:31 ratio, non posi rear end unit (complete from drum to drum) out of a '71 Chevelle and ALWAYS was able to do a "posi-like" burnout (both wheels spinning). My best burnout was so epic. Just starting out at KU with a new roommate. We worked at the same place roughly a 40min drive away and both were drivers so we often just raced. '91 mr2 for him and a completely built '88 mustang conv for me. I never really got into it because i'd been working on it so many years and wrecked my previous project. But it happens. One day in spring we pulled up next to one another at a stoplight, lots of open road ahead. He could smoke his tires, mine I knew what I paid for them being wider on OZ rims fuck spending all my money on burning rubber. I opened it up while he was burning out and the car went perfectly just a bit sideways so i was facing his car and started to go down the road. smoked through 3rd gear shifting on a new clutch all sideways. He pretty much forgot about racing i think and just was open mouthed, straightened up the car easing the clutch out of 3rd and went on my way. I've had others but that was the best with witnesses on the street. btw, my previous wreck was a '68 camaro based on reading about crusher camaro since i was 14yrs old. devastated me to wreck that thing on a silly wreck coming around a corner and spinning.
