The coaching badges apparently have a significant impact on managers hiring rate and their managing history. It's the reason why there's only a few manager regens around. Because the only way(that i've seen) for a good regen manager to be picked by a big club is from the inside, by which they were appointed as a replacement and get to keep their job because of good forms and stuffs.

Maybe Huey did a Jack and "accidentally resigned" arguing with the board?😉

Set them up at one club dewy as high rep low ability manager Lewy as L1 manager Assistant Huewy as the stud ability coach

i think the mutual agreement with the board message means he had a chat with the board about something that they were rejecting and he said i dont think i can carry on my job if this request isnt accepted

I'd be interested to see if preferred tactic/formation has a massive impact. Create 2 managers with the same stats and reputation and put them at the same club (in 2 different save files). Make one of them a 4-2-3-1 gegenpress manager and the other play a flat back 7 with 2 AMs and 1 striker and have their preferred tactic as a cantenaccio or whatever its called.

Could Peterborough Sports have had a new owner that decided to get rid of the current manager? That has been a thing in the game before that had struck me, regardless of how well I was doing.

I always think preferred formation matters a lot. I had a cm and a RW on loan at Shamrock rovers who were their best players. At first they played a 4-3-3 so both played then sacked the manager who played a 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond and got rid of the wingers. He then got sacked and they appointed a guy who played a 4-2-3-1 DM AM and they just stopped playing theCMalltpgether who was by far their best player

Lollujo could you make a few videos to help with fm 24 on console cause there's a few things that are very different then PC and aren't explained well.

Perhaps make them willing to take on other jobs as well, like coach, DoF, etc - which may allow them to improve reputation/ability without being a manager and then get promoted into managerial positions later on. Assuming this is something that can be done in the editor...

The two unemployed dudes where basically unemployable as they both wouldn't take or be offered a job their stats/rep dictated while having the lower stats/rep as well.

There is some randomness, surely. But it seems to me that what influences the managerial career is the quality of the team and what you achieve with them... so basically, if you finish above or not, the media prediction. That's my conclusion.

Do as you can with players and tie them down to one club long contract say 30 years and make sure they have a future transfer arranged to another club and it will keep them in the job as long as they stay in the leagues

I feel like this would work better if you assigned them all to the same club in three different saves, and locked them to the club (if that's possible) for 5 years or so

Need to do multiple saves with each starting at the same club at different tiers and then different nations. Let the multiverse of keviness begin. Not at the same time though, as they will get in each be careerblocking.

I imagine Huey had an argument with the board when they wouldn't give him money for the players wage demands. The players blamed him for not paying the players what they think they deserve despite it not being in his control and so he just quit. Now that I type this out I realise how insane that all sounds. Nobody would do that.

I’ve done some very interesting manager career sims thus far in FM24. Have ended up w some very different results. In one sim, one of the 3 managers ended up managing Arsenal for 20 years and won absolutely everything.

To get them to have a proper career, first it helps if they actually have the ceiling to grow to become an elite manager. Depending on how much club hopping you want them to do, you’ll need to adjust their loyalty accordingly.

Maybe man management is a big key to being a football manager. Saw a premier league video recently which asked managers what they'd work at if they weren't managers, the majority said teachers/ pe instructors, so managing people is obviously a big part of the job ( FM's morale manager tries to simulate that I guess)

Huey probably quit because he wanted too much money on his next contract. Probably also the reason he got stuck unemployed, he's too expensive for smaller clubs and too little reputation to get hired by bigger clubs.
