The look on her face and voice inflection was perfect. Cooper realizing it and the face of the actor was spot on. Cooper doesnt say his wife or daughter but "family" so that implies that even though he became a ghoul after the bombs or later on HE was able to get his daughter too a vault or my guess vault 31 but if he knows where they are but no pipboy to get inside? SO MANY QUESTIonS

@@iphone_4s681 I think that is the job of a season 1. It reminds me of the Walking Dead season 1. It had you asking so many questions wanting to follow these characters. Although, they could treat each season more of a new series new characters outside of Cooper, but as a long time Fallout fan. I want to know if the NCR is still around. The brotherhood of Steel mentions that they conquered the wastelands. I took it as he is saying for a few years the BoS actually controlled America officially. I am not sure if there are still Supermutants as they are hinted at as more of like something not seen by these characters in sometime if at all. This can make the ending for New Vegas be that Mr.House ending and he bankrupted the NCR making it easy for the BoS to take them down. Yet, we do see a more ordered society for the most part. So after 4 the BoS is the new Federal government? Yet, they talk about the Enclave which is still around and fighting over the position of controlling the US?

I thought the show was chickening out on gorey stuff when the glass exploded and *didn’t* graphically rip a room full of kids to ribbons (I say chickened out, but I am glad they didn’t go nuclear on what would have been a horrifically traumatic option lol), so I was very pleased to see they kept things bang on with gore after the time jump It also made things just seem better before the bombs fell in that people got socked in the face or tripped and fell over, but without blood, whereas after the bombs fell everything was the gorefest of exploding meatsacks we know and love

@@noahdean9685 That's unlikely. [SPOILERS] According to the final episode, he doesn't know where his wife is, and I imagine they weren't even together anymore once the bombs dropped. The reason I say this is because in the intro scene we see people wondering why the famous Cooper Howard has fallen into doing child birthday party shows, we don't see his wife, and Cooper doesn't want to do the thumbs up, mostly probably because it's also associated with Vault Tec which at that point he was already aware of what they were doing, so I suppose he or his wife left (maybe she found out about the spying device). Also, it's shown in Vault 31 there was where the important people at Vault Tec were sheltered.

Fallout 76 was my first game in this franchise. I haven't played the previous 75, but I'm so glad that Amazon was able to adapt my favorite game series so accurately. I'm also glad that Bethesda allowed to use the Creation Engine to create such incredible effects. Even such a billionaire as James Cameron could not recreate in Terminator 2 all this horror and atmosphere of a nuclear explosion as accurately as the small indie studio Amazon Prime did. I believe the thumb thing was for the davy crockett 1.5(or so) kiloton nuke. The explosion was just for shock, the radiation was the problem. So if you were close enough for the mushroom cloud to be bigger than your thumb, you would be fried. Smaller than your thumb, your fine from the radiation. I hope everyone watches everything about the american nuke tests. It teaches a lot.

The show is amazing, period. From the references and easter eggs, to the characters and story. As you said, the intro is pure perfection, with every little detail carefully placed to lead up to the title. I for one can't wait for season 2 and have been playing all three (3, NV and 4) games to not only brush up on lore, but to also get my fix until the next season drops. Fun facts to add here. First, they want to do 10 (or 12, I can't remember exactly) seasons and if not mistaken, they have gotten the go ahead so far. Second, the set designers were so into the detail, that not only did they make COMPLETE paperwork, but were upset because they couldn't make the Vault halls to scale.

The opening scene left me absolutely gobsmacked. That was the best opening scene that I have ever seen for a TV series. Frankly, it was as good as the opening scenes for some iconic movies like Star Wars, Jaws, and Saving Private Ryan. Those were more action based than Fallout which was more about introducing the main character and the world he lived in. Great job on the video. You showed bits of Cooper that I did not remember seeing in the series. Are those scenes of him in the military coming in the next season?

It’s still got it’s weird moments….. but it’s certainly superior in quality compared to other game shows that have released in recent years ((looking at you, Halo 😔)). However, there are some weird adaptations they’ve gone with for ghe story that kind of feel out of place. I’ve played Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4, and I cannot think off the top of my head one single incest joke in those 3 games. In the first episode they make a full on Incest joke, they show a guy wipe his dick off on a curtain after having sex, they’re ceaselessly swearing on the surface world. I get that sure, that’s probably going to be the reality of such a world. Incest would definitely run rampant if left unchecked, and I’m sure raiders and what not would swear. But at the same time, while people do swear in the games, it doesn’t feel forced. In the show, the swearing feels genuinely forced, like they didn’t have any other way to convey “These are dirty, nuclear radiated waste landers,” so they just gave them swear every other word. . All the main settlements in the games, with people genuinely trying to rebuild some semblance of society, people don’t swear that often in the games. People try to act civilized, “As long as you’re within these walls, you act kind to others. If you don’t, we’ll throw you out, and if you harm others or steal; death sentence and we move on.” In the show, however, it takes place 9 years after the events of Fallout 4 and people are just brutally savage to each other even in main settlements. There are virtually no rules. Despite the fact that about a decade prior to this show taking place, the Institute in the main fallout storyline defeats their enemies on the east and have spent 9 years using Synths to push out to the rest of the US and bring technological and medical advancements to the remaining human population. I haven’t gotten far enough to see if this plays out in this story; but that’s how it should be in the fallout universe 9 years after fallout 4 takes place and concluded as a story.
