What makes life beautiful? | German Listening Practice | B1 - B2
In these two new German stories for listening we invite you to improve your listening comprehension. Two interesting people talk about what is important to them: being social, creating art and teaching.
First step: listening with German subtitles. This allows you to understand the spoken text while grasping the meaning.
Second step: After every story, we focus on important vocabulary and expressions from the story. We explain them in detail to expand your vocabulary and provide a deeper understanding of key terms in the story.
Learn and deepen pronunciation: listen to the video several times in order to improve your language skills.
Third step: Listen again without subtitles!
The video is supported by meaningful images that deepen your understanding of the text and strengthen your listening comprehension at the same time. Immerse yourself in these inspiring stories and use them to improve your German at level B1-B2.

Thanks for the suggestion! Did you see channels, that do this? I thought, the German writing is quite straightforward, because it is pronounced the way it is written. If you know the basic rules of pronunciation, you can figure out pronunciation from the subtitles easily and you also hear the natural pronunciation in our videos. Could you say, why it would help an which transription you would suggest?

I've never seen any channel do this, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. We have learned how to pronounce, but we don't remember the pronunciation rules clearly. We want to learn the pronunciation rules through the experience of listening and speaking, not based on theory, so we proposed this idea.

Hallo, danke für den Kommentar. Ich verstehe aber nicht ganz, was Sie meinen. Natürlich haben die meisten Deutschen Deutschland nicht verlassen. Deutschland braucht momentan viele Arbeitskräfte, überall wird nach Arbeitskräften gesucht.

Hallo Markus seit ich von derStadt aufs Land gezogen bin, habe ich wunderbare Nachbarn . Weil mein Haus am Waldrand steht besuchen mir ohne Einladung Rehe ,Elche,Hessen und viele Vögelarten. Solche Nachbarn stören mich uberhaupt nicht und ich hoffe , dass ich sie auch nicht störe

Das ist wirklich ein Traum! Auf dem Dorf zu leben finde ich persönlich auch viel schöner. Dass du Elche siehst, lässt mich vermuten, dass du vielleicht in Polen lebst?... Da gibt es viele Tiere, die wir in Deutschland nicht haben. Einmal bin ich in Polen einem großen Wisent (Żubr europejski?) begegnet! Das war extrem beeindruckend. :)
