What i appreciate is eastliegh was started as a refugee hub for somalis. But instead of the place being turned into a slum, the somalis turned it into one of the most successful business hubs in Africa. Show me anywhere in the world where refugees turned their settlement into such a luctrative hub. Am not sure whether its true but there are figues thrown around that the money floating around in eastliegh is 600m dollars a month. Not sure whether these figures are correct anyhow just look at the construction of new buildings coming up. You just dont build such without massive amount of money flowing into the place.

Pipe in more water, repair roads and clean up the area. KRA stands to benefit more as are ordinary folks. I haven't visited Eastleigh in 20+ years but will make a point to.
