Thanks for sticking to the tradition of ties with suits!

I have learnt more from watching these videos than I did whilst working at a high-end retailer when I was in university.

I enjoy wearing ties. I have mostly club ties my late farthers ex regimental tie and alllsorts that remind me of people and places that I have known. So they have a meaning for me.

I remember back in the early 70’s there was a shape of tie called ‘the kipper tie’ I suppose it was the fashion in the 70’s - my late father would wear them. He also back in the 50’s and 60’s would wear ties using the ‘Windsor knot’ 👍 👍 ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😍😍😀😀

Agreed. A suit without a tie is like a canvas without paint.

The old saying to dress for the job you want, not the one you have is true. People visiting my department always assumed I was the boss because I preferred to wear a suit when my boss liked to dress business casual most of the time. The problem with always wearing suits is you do tend to buy more ties than are necessary. 😜

Great looking ties. You are right with wearing a tie with a suit. It looks wrong to wear a suit jacket with an open collar and no tie.

There is, but only high end ones sell for a bit. Most ties on the second hand market sell for pennies on the dollar.
