'Master...masterpiece engine'. Couldn't agree more PF

How do you retime these if something was moved before reinstalling?

It is important to mark the balance shaft assembly before removing. Crankshaft at #1 Cylinder, Top Dead Center, then mark balance shaft assembly at correct location before removing. Because it balances against piston motion with crankshaft weights, while engine is running. 👍 Good video Thank you!

this balancer makes the 2.2l Camry idle and rev VERY smooth, almost "V8 like smoothness"

Ocupó de su ayuda tengo un problema con la sincronización del balanciador lo eeee puesto como lo esplica en su foro pero se sigue escuchando un golpeteo en el balanciador anteriormente el problema fue por falta de lubricación y salió el sigueñal rallado

No need for changing it should last the life of the engine as long as you change your oil on time

Основная проблема этих моторов как раз и прячется в этом балансире. Балансир новым не продаётся, вкладыши для него отсутствуют. Износ именно в балансире и маслянное голодание как раз и приводит все эти моторы или на помойку или что редко к мотористу к пробегу около 200к миль. Были версии 5fse без балансира. Это и есть вечный двигатель. Я лично сам на одном перебранном моторе 95 года удалил этот балансир и закрыл маслянную магистраль к нему. Вибрация конечно появилась но обычная и не мешала ездить . При этом я добавил механический датчик давления и температуры масла. Мотор ожил - у него появилось нормальное давление. Теперь переживать за шатунные вкладыши и кулак дружбы не стоит. Насколько я помню эти балансиры ставили только на машины в штатах и Канаде. На остальные рынки никаких балансиров небыло + на MR2 тоже не ставили эти балансиры для любых рынков.

The manual calls for 5w30 in cold climates and 10w30 in hot/warm climates

Я их убрал. Разница не большая. Мотор быстрее крутится. Только на средних оборотах чуть чуть вибрирует. Меня устраивает.

I have a 95 camry with over 200,000 miles on it and I can tell you that these are very robust engines. use full synthetic oil and the engine will thank you.
