It’s been a long time since I got excited for catching anything but my target species, and always looking to net fish of large proportion. I love to see enthusiasm like yours when I take my grandkids or my daughters. My wife gave me two pictures for my office. One reads”I’d rather be lost on the lakes, than found at home”. The other reads”nothing makes a fish bigger than being almost landed” thanks and keep up the good work “BUDDY”. You are a fine example of what fishing should really be. Finally, yt does a survey for me on a channel I actually want to rate! “Entertaining” and “informative” were the choices I made. Really do love this show I have not fished at all for about 4 years now. Change of life, and environment make it a headache but I’m hopeful soon I can check out what the Arizona mts have to offer! Not the big catches I’m sure but fishing is such a great and underrated sport. Honestly it’s a life style IMO. I fished a lot as a little girl and into my twenties now almost in my fourties and no kids….I need my hobbies back. For now while I settle life; I have these enjoyable videos. Thank you!

I used to play around that spillway was a kid back in the 70's. Used to catch a lot of bass down there back then. And that place used to be CRAWLING with water snakes and copperheads back in the day. Great memories. Love watching you fish that place.

@@gelliohumberto5858 well I’ll try to be concise and describe things happened with me personally. First of all my story is not that awful, many people faced with real terror. So I lived in Kharkiv which is a big 1.5 million city located 40km away from russias border. For me it started when I woke up February 24th at 5:20am from loud explosions and the sky in my windows which are facing russias direction were shining red. I only managed to pack a few things, my wife and children, we hopped into a car and we are fleeing since. I gathered my and my wife’s mother in the central Ukrainian district and we head to the western border. I drove 2000km in 4 days, all 6th of us were sleeping in the car. I saw real desperation and hopelessness, some people had to leave their cars on the curb cause they had flattened they tire or might be used all the gas they had, nobody could help them, half the country were desperately fleeing, there were gas shortages, some places were only selling for cash and so on. It was really hard trip, psychologically I mean. I had one thought all this time, if something happens to my car it’s almost certainly let’s just say “very very bad thing” to me and my family. Some how we reached the border, as it is martial law I can’t leave a country but I wanted to send my family abroad. The refused to do so, so we started to look for some house/apartment to rent. It was not an easy task as half a country is also here. We were looking for housing for another 2 days. When I accidentally found this local person who actually saved us. He let us to his house he shared his food, we could take a shower first time in a week and then he helped us to find something to rent calling all his friends and searching almost entire district. Now I’m in the small village in the middle of nowhere It’s relatively quiet here near the western border, we still have missile bombing cities within 50-80km from us. But believe it’s nothing compared to what’s going on in such hot spots as my beloved Kharkiv and other cities such as Kyiv and Mariupol. The office building in the Kharkiv cbd when I was working was totally brought to the ground by a missile the while I was on my way. A lot of my relatives are left in the central Ukraine thanks God they all are alive , but the have much more bombing happening. One more stupidest thing, believe it or not, my mother is actually was born in russia, her brother and his family live in russia, I had a call with them, and guess what? They said we have nazi in here, they said it is we ourselves who bombing us and that their troops are coming to save us from us. It’s just terrible, I tried to explain some simple things and facts for them but they responded that I’m a zombie and that I should sit in my house quietly, and that I’m soon be freed and that their troop are the noble savers and it is our nazi government, and nato, Europe and US who are guilty. I can’t speak with them anymore. From the very start of the russia invasion we’re seeing russia’s planes bombing us from the sky, russias missiles, but the real Armageddon is happening where their land army reaches to, the are coming with artillery and other deadly stuff and they are just burning our cities out. So that’s the story, not short but this is not even a half of what is going on here.

As for the nazi, I ask you please do believe me, I live in this country whole my life for 32 years and I have never seen at least 1 person who would admire nazi ideology, all the people I know and I met, all they know that nazi and fascists were wrong and bad things. I’m not saying there are no such people, probably somewhere in the country there are a couple of such an idiots but it is true for all the countries, including russia. So this is the propaganda bullsh.t designed by putin’s regime in order to justify the action and make locals to accept and support all the crimes he’s doing, thus he can say them - in fact we have no choice, I’m protecting you. My understanding that this is the only way for him to save his leadership and stay in the chair, this the only goal of him. We have some radically patriotic people, they actually appeared after russias occupation of Crimea and eastern districts of Ukraine. They always were saying putin has such plans as destroying and occupying our country, and as we can see they were just right. I personally never thought so. But I and a lot of our citizens were wrong and here comes the price…

Nice catches. You should fish at the Ocoee I think it’s in Tennessee but it’s a big spill way creek I’ve never fished there but I’ve passed it dozens of times but I’m sure there are a lot of fish in it.
