Wayne did a interview back in 2007 or 08 where he had on a checkerboard shirt & the interviewer asked him about his artist. He mentioned Drizzy & Nicki & said that they would be better than him in the sense that ppl would gravitate to them & forget about him. It's crazy cause he predicted it. He's still the 🐐

Dude I jam that shit everyday after work first song I listen to on the way home!! Prolly my fav. Beat without bass, moment of clarity remix, everything from no ceilings… when Dj Drama was in court back around 06ish I wanna say, over the whole ordeal with it being illegal to sample and remix the exact same beat as another artist bc of trademarks and ownerships, the case turned in their favor and it was rule legal to sample beats that way, Wayne stole the game… You’d have a dope song like Top Back, Rain on me, or wasted for ex. and Weezy would drop a fuc&$! Nuke in that bitch!! Every sample he touched he turned to a GD CLASSIC for ppl around my age group. I’m 32 and can say I’ve listen to Wayne RELIGIOUSLY since the Carter 2. To this day I use Wezzy as the standard when I try out a new artist, and I’ve found 2 I can put in a close category with him that I enjoy on his lvl. Chris Webby and Polo G.
