Daniel van Slooten not everyone likes deep carry, and not every model warrants a deep carry clip. In general, I feel like deep carry is more niche than their regular/default clips. And it's not hard or expensive to get a deep carry clip.

Ben has mentioned that when he worked for CRKT, you kind of had to carry a CRKT. Maybe spyderco has a similar policy? I hope not though. Id hope a knife company cares about the community enough to allow their employees the freedom to carry whatever they want.

My first Spyderco rescue knife saved two lives. I used it to get two people out of a burning ambulance. Not kidding. As I was cutting the 3" seat belts off the wheel chair, all I could think was that I would have to pay for them. I carried that knife for years, retired it after this incident. It now lives on a shelf. It served well, I almost died in the experience. I will buy more Spyderco. Please stay away from my car...

Hey Ben and Zack this is cool I just picked up a spyderco tenacious a week prior to me seeing this video and I love it. It has been the best knife i've purchased yet. What a coincidence. Also love what you guys do you where what got me into collecting knives.
I own knives from all different types of companies, but my Manix M4 is always the one I reach for without hesitation. Thanks for the great knives Spyderco! Now to save up for a Shaman!
Came back to this video just to say thanks for introducing me to the Massad Ayoob! I am now a proud owner of the new Cruwear sprint model Ayoob. Can't wait to use her at work tomorrow.
I don't normally like the Spyderco, but when I saw that war hatchet, man that was AWESOME!!!
Heeeey Joyce!!! Hello from the Spyderco forums!!👍
I've been a Spyderco knives fan since it got my 1st Delica Clipit years ago. I have several models over the years and last week I added 2 more Para 2 and Para 3. I think I've found my new favorite work horse in the Para. That knife feels great in my hand and carries comfortably tip up or down as well as right or left handed. The CPM S30V holds an impressive edge and makes easy work of my daily needs. The one handed operation is great due to the compression lock, smooth action and classic Spyderco thumb hole. Since the Para 2 and Para 3 arrived, all my other knives have taken a back seat. Can't decide which Para to get? Do as I do and get both!
I myself love Spyderco and have most of their knives in my collection of Spyderco folders and fixed blades!

I Love my Domino. 👍 Thank you for this amazing Video. Best regards Dirk.
I added my comments on Spyderco for the Endura I carry, yet I also own the Native III: I've been carrying the Endura for quite a number of years now. A friend of mine told me of the Spyderco knife brand as I had always been a "Case". The Endura is my daily carry, but I do switch to the Spyderco Native III for church carry. My Case knives have been retired to a Pelican case now and the Spyderco's have replaced them as my working knives now. Especially the Endura which is used for everything for even cleaning small fish, gutting rabbits, squirrel and cutting boxes when needed. Always keeping a sharp edge...but I do sharpen and care for them. Oh...oh...an...an, even have it just in case I need to protect my self in case of a zombie attack!!! Mark S McKinney
Spyderco has been like magic to me since I was a kid. My uncle in the navy would visit like once a year and he’d bring new pistols with Tritium sights and knives and just cool shit a kid would “ooouu and ahhh” at. One day though he handed me a baby blue Endura and from that point on.. they’ve been my gold standard ever since. I adore the Endura line.. I’m to nervous to branch out more than that cause I only like knives that are 3.5”+ blades. I don’t see the point of under 3” like most of the popular ones are.

I wish ya'll would place each knife into a kinfe holder so the camera can get in close and we the audience can really enjoy all the knife's visual appearance. I've found in nearly everyone of your videos I'm never really able to look at the blade for very long. Ya'll are flinging them around or pointing them to yourself. Thanks for all the great videos, great lighting, timing, and sound quality.
Spydercos are the best! My first Spiderco was given to me by a friend as a going away gift when I was going on an extended sailing trip in the Caribbean in 1989. The Spiderco was ideal for sailing. It cut through ropes, sails, and webbing like it wasn’t even there! I carried it throughout the trip and for a couple of years after I got back to Denver. There were a few times where I curated open in my head close to my body it’s a pretty scary places. Thank God they never had to use it for self-defense! Somehow I managed to lose it, and I immediately replaced it with another just like it. It looked a lot like your current Delica 4, but with a little less sculptured handle, as I recall. When I lost the second one after a few years, I bought a third similar knife, but with a plastic handle. Eventually, I decided I didn’t need to carry a knife like that, and gave it to my youngest son. I imagine it will last him a lifetime if he keeps better track of it then I did with mine! If I need a knife of that quality today, I know exactly where I would go and what I would do. Spyderco forever!
Ben's tomahawk throw killed me!!! 😂😂😂😂😂☠☠☠ 5:55

That first knife looked like it had a MXG clip. Having the Okay hand on that one clip is almost a legendary idea.

Those cut aways you guys do are classic. I spit my Hawaiian punch on the princess bride one..
this was a great one and of course one i carry almost every day.
I love spyderco! I have over 30 knives from spyderco and almost all are perfect, I got 1 spyderco dragonfly 2 v-toku2, that is not 100% blade centered, But it is still usable with a perfect swedish steel.
I can imagine before filming. "Take this and say you love it" haha
Interesting. I would have thought most Spyderco employees would carry the Victorinox Pioneer X, guess I was wrong 🤔. Very interesting knives, thanks to the Spyderco employees for sharing.
That Southard was my grail when I started collecting. Never got the chance to buy one and I’ve moved away from frame locks now. My Manix 2 is now my go to.
The spyderco deep carry pocket clip your asking about is sold on eBay by a seller named blue4you2010. Great seller I've bought many pocket clip upgrades from him and they always arrive fast with great finish quality.
My very favorite is the manix 2 I purchased 1 and fell in love

I like the sharp edge facing backwards, the clip and point down. I'm concerned on reaching in pocket and get stuck if knife point is loose and sticking out. My draw is to pinch knifes top with thumb and finger, knife automatically falls into my hand ready for thumb flick.

@@dataclast Spyderco cares less about innovation and more about just keeping the sprint run and dealer exclusive hype trains going!!! For about the last three years almost every single BladeHQ Spyderco exclusive was made with either that ugly natural or jade G10 which are the absolute most inexpensive materials you could use to make handle scales and these knives were just different variations of the same knife!!! Spyderco really needs new knife designers to create new/exciting designs for them instead of just making the same damn knives with different blade steel or different colored handles!!!
My only Spyderco is a plain edge first run Massad Ayoob. Like her it is special to me and I take good care of it.
Still waiting for my Native 5 Salt in LC200N I pre-ordered in March (it's now October). I'm holding off any new knife purchases from BladeHQ or Spyderco until my knife arrives (if it arrives. To be fair, BM sent me a replacement knife and screws for the balisong. Trouble is, I think they're safer where they are...at the bottom of my desk drawer. My Spyders stay where THEY are: my pocket.
