Key takeaways from this conversation: 1) You must also take accountability in your life’s chaos. You must acknowledge that you might’ve hurt other people along the way. You might’ve also contributed to their pain, in the same way that they also have contributed to your pain. It’s also a way to heal. In short, don’t always think you’re the victim. 2) We’re humans, it normal for us to have our walls. It’s okay to be guarded especially when you feel something’s off. But don’t be cynical. 3) Competing with anyone is pointless and uninteresting. You have your own life to live and own goals to reach. Focus on that. 4) Going through life’s fire, taking all those lessons with you as you grow old will only make you come out stronger, wiser, better. 5) Nothing is permanent, everything will pass. Even the noisiest & messiest phase of your life will eventually die down. Don’t allow it to break you. Be resilient. 6) Some people, even if those you believe are your “friends”, will turn their backs on you. 7) Perfect Storm. This is when you encounter life’s hardest battles, and the ones who aren’t meant to be in your life will be swept away. Real ones, stay. This conversation just cemented my thoughts of why I never unliked Julia despite all her controversies. I have always admired how she speaks her thoughts with so much intelligence, wisdom & clarity. Mga nambabash minsan ay mga tipo ng magulang na magaling maningil ng utang na loob dahil pinanganak ka nila, binuhay ka nila. Yung kahit gaano sila kasama, gusto nila nirerespeto parin sila ng mga anak. Mga tipo ng magulang na di alam ang ikabubuti ng anak o may pake sa saloobin ng mga anak, di iniisip ang kapakanan ng mga anak. In short mga masasamang magulang.

The best thing about this episode is that these two women are high in wisdom so their conversation is simply smooth and naturally inspiring. May this be a lesson to everyone not to judge anyone based on what you hear from other people. Words can be twisted especially when you are hurting or angry but when you get to know someone, witnessing their actions on a daily basis, it can never be twisted. Jumping to the bandwagon of bashing just because everyone is doing it is like a cycle of people forgetting about kindness. Don't be part of that cycle be it in the internet, in your neighborhood, in your town, in our country or in our world. The best thing that can heal the world is KINDNESS.

what i love about TG talks is how aesthetic the content is, how the content makes it more pleasant for everyone to watch or to view the lessons you would learn and connect with the guest and how conservstive the topic its like its not the typical questions but how you handle yours.
