Nice store. Make sure you have UV protection on those big windows so that the sun doesn’t damage the cards

The cards are sleeved and don't get direct sunlight only bounce light. It would take years for a card to get any visible damage. By that time, the card is most likely already sold.

We managed to hold the store down. Proud of us 👌🏽

I know it's taboo to talk about money but I'm so interested in the cost of running this business and the profit margins. Like I'm sure it helps that you work the shop your self, but I imagine the margins on mostly small price items can still be hard.

Most modern items / low priced items are very small margins. We help it with shop sales, website sales, KZread streams, eBay auctions, instagram sales etc etc

Nice store! 😁 lots of my friends over the years have talked about opening a cardstore but they have no clue how much work it takes to run a business and especially a niched one. We have a few cool cardstores here in Sweden but feeling like they get less and less common these days.

I don't know if you guys worked any retail before opening the store, but if you haven't you've probably realized by now is that on cold rainy days business is sloooow. Sounds obvious when you say it but useful to keep in mind. Keep the store nice and toasty if you can, so if they come in they don't want to leave. 😂
