That’s so true! Especially this level. A lot of people have the idea of surfers being dumb and spent too much time in the sun. But to be able to do this takes incredible skill.

Pro surfers get some recognition. There are many more that have out in the dedication and time to be nearly as good and no one knows their names

Good call, the skillset can only be obtained through years and years of surfing. That's why you will never get an athlete from similar sports (snowboarding, skating, wakeboarding etc) crossover to surfing and be successful where as a surfer can can or could crossover to those other mentioned sports and have succes.

Koa! I was the one that yelled and started the clapping on the beach! I yelled out "Lets go Koa!!!!" and started cheering and everyone joined in. I'm a big fan of your videos I watch them every week so it was really cool seeing you surf Pipe XXL in person!

This has to be the one of most intense pipe videos I have ever seen. Honestly the footage of the inside melts my mind and is so hair raising. You guys are beyond animals of this world, just another level of skill and insanity.

unreal. thank you for including clips like 3:00 showing the approaching sets, positioning in lineup, paddling etc etc. Gives us casual surfer viewers a good grasp of everything that is going on.

He us a phenom. I preferred Nates wave just before, cleaner, speedier and more intense...at least to me. 😎 The boys were charging, and that was some gnarly pipe!😅😅😅

I love how you see the wisdom in a guy that’s been out there for a long time. JOB is wearing the helmet, flotation device, crash suit whatever they call them-very smart on a day like that because you can totally see that the wave is over such a shallow depth over the reef by the way the white wash really explodes up it crashes.
