Because dedicated trailers are to supply a line at plants for various things so they may need them at a moment notice. To keep a line going usually a local plant close to warehouse has there own carrier that run empty drop and hook to full and warehouse must fill empty immediately then do all other work between those dedicated loads.

Another You Tuber did a video on the drone usage and stated that the FAA had new rules for the use of drones and that commercial use of a drone without a license is a 100000.$ fine. Don't remember all the details. BUT if you use a drone and make money using it you have to have a license but if you use a drone and its just for fun then you don't have a license.

I had my gallbladder removed a couple of weeks ago. If you have to have it removed, 90% percent of the time, they can do it by laparoscopically instead of openly. The recovery was hours, not days or weeks. I barely felt any different. TINY incisions.

Hi Justin, and enjoy your channel. As others have said, I'm not a truck driver, but I would just personally dump the pallets in front of the trailers and away you go. You have been very helpful, and kind. At the end of the day, you're only doing your job, same as those in the warehouse are doing there's. The least they can do is spend half an hour taking off the pallets

That's why we have dispatchers finding loads for us all the time. When we drop a load off we are dispatched to another pickup. Sometimes Bosslady will tell drivers no more loads take time off to relax. When I was driving and wasn't with my wife at the time. I told dispatchers keep giving me loads. If I was off the road I was staying in motels.

The trailers at the end are dedicated Wich means they are priority loads they have to keep dedicated loads done first road loads always second to dedicated loads. I ran a chain of warehouse's for AB Inc during one of my stay close to home breaks. And all dedicated trailers had to be full even if they was not scheduled to leave for 3 days they had to be ready to go at moments notice.

My prayers for tdubs, I've had 3 bouts with kidney stones over the last 9 years, last September I was dealing with a stone, was scheduled for a "procedure", started experiencing severe abdominal pain, due to procedure I couldn't take any pain meds, so I went to ER, found out I had developed gallstones AND sepsis, spent a week in the hospital on IV antibiotics and multiple surgical procedures........DONT PLAY WITH THIS, they told me I was probably a few days away from being a client in my local funeral home.

Justin like I told you before, the trucking industry is nothing but sit and wait. And when my dad was running his business they did alot of tanker loads and he couldn't figure out why I had to sit all the time and not get detention but he said anytime there tankers had to sit and wait to get loaded or unloaded you got detention. And I told my dad that there was times I had to sit and wait for the load to go out in the fields and get picked like, watermelon, sweet corn, potatoes, onions, apples and alot of the loads that were supposed to get detention the broker would apply for it and get it but not give it to the trucker or my boss , that happened a bunch of times and I told my boss to quit getting loads from him as he was ripping us off !

I am like Justin, I own my own truck for last year. I don't see a shortage in our market. The deal I think is large carriers have accounts that we normally don't see on our load boards. They are contracted with Swift etc. Those are not brokered loads. We may see some of the over flow that they can't handle showing on load board. You see companies ( that are not contracted through a large carrier) that use brokerages to have their loads booked through Brokers like TQL and CH Robinson. they don't have their own trucking like Swift or JB hunt. We could hire drivers like the big companies but we would still use load boards/ large carrier over flow or we have to get our own contracted loads direct with shippers/companies. Hope that makes sense.
