I am Christian, i am from ethiopia , i visited casablanca Morocco in march 2023 for 10 days. ......here i am to defend the good name and the good image of Morocco .....who was talking negative about morroco? .....tell that person unless one go to paradise no perfect place on earth. . .. some people talk too much , don't trust them My Moroccan stay experience , Morocco is 1- safe place to visit 2- friendly people 3- beautiful people 4- hospitable I lost my way to my hotel but people help me graciously 5- i saw few who confused me as Ethiopian, of course they confused me too as morrocoian as well, so i felt a bit of connection. 6- the food i.e. the steak was very good ......the down side is only 2 things. I don't speak Arabic, i don't speak french 1- they speak arbic and French, hardly i find english speaker so i have big communication barrier 2- for some reason in Casablanca especially around the vicinity of the stadium, like abeineze road and city center area , i don't see pedestrians , i don't know why hassle bustle thing is missing. Of course old madina was more active ......i wish i can live in Morocco and open businesses

You're welcome my sister here in Morocco, if you need anything I'm glad to help 😊. It's true we are not the best economically and we are as any country facing some challenges whether in terms of climate change, inflation and stuffs but we try to keep a safe environment for everybody to live in, and we live with dignity and love. Many Moroccans don't speak English as it's the 4th language taught after darija or tamazight, arabic,French and Spanish so usually it's hard for tourists to get by and get the best experience here and I understand that but we are working more on that .

Like you said this is the case for many countries but life with dignity and love is absent from many countries. We are learning Arabic as this is key to the religion and Quran and it helps us get by alhamdulillah even in Darija. We don't expect to have Morocco change the language to accommodate us but we change and adapt to the country. Thank you so much for your kind words and hospitality, and let's stay in touch! ❤️

Good luck in your journey of learning Arabic 👍, the start will be a little bit challenging but I'm sure you will get by. As for darija,I think learning Arabic will make the task of understanding it very very easy and Moroccans can understand Arabic so no pressure my sister. May Allah be with you 🙏🏻

In Morocco, as in all countries, it takes time to adapt. If you stay for a while, you'll eventually adapt. Admittedly, not everything is as organised, as clean or as fast as in the UK. Admittedly, some of the population has a tendency to westernise (part of the bourgeoisie who idealise the West too much). But Morocco does have some advantages over the UK (or USA): - Women can wear the hijab without risk (and men can wear quamis) and without risking a racist attack. - There are more mosques (with adhan) - religion is easier to practise (halal meat, Ramadan, eid festivals, etc.) - Life is cheap for a European. - it's a safer country (of course, there are bad people in Morocco, as there are everywhere). - Unlike some Western countries, some bad things will never be taught to your children in school, even private schools, and you'll never see anything weird in administrative papers (like "gender indeterminate", "parent 1", "parent 2" for g*y couples...). And a child will never say to your child: "I've got two dads or two mums’’ ! - There is much less tax than in some European countries. - There's more sunshine than in the UK. -... Prefer Casablanca or Marrakech if you like city life. In the beginning that can be quite difficult but over Time , In the long run, you will see that the advantages of living in Morocco outweigh the disadvantages. I'd be happy if he could see this comment and reply to me! (Please like

There's a lot! And a lot, I'm still learning. Make sure bank cards can last you for your stay, if you know a Moroccan that you trust ask them to reach out to their family Morocco, it helps if you know someone. As unnecessary interactions with locals as a foreigner will cost you $$ even if you ask a question. Make sure you rent from a place that is willing to notarize the contract for your apartment and most importantly STICK TOGETHER. Traveling is difficult, but Traveling for the pleasure of Allah is even more difficult. There will be lots of trials, even lots of behavior that'll turn you off, stick together as a family and recognize the trial when you see it and in shaa Allah it will be rewarding for you all. May Allah make it easy for you ❤️ Sorry for the late reply!!!!

I honestly I find it strange when people are complaining about something that they aren’t used in there culture, I understand there frustration example like bargaining in market that’s how it’s over there if u don’t like u pay the first price he asked , second thing people’s trying to sell u something, u can refuse for them that how they make there living but u can always refuse The last thing I will say I hope people’s take the feed back and learn from it as tourist is big industry in Morocco so plz for the sake of God take there feed back either positive or negative for the positive it’s a reward to encourage u to do better job For negative try to improve the service ( bargaining honestly I have encountered that on tetouan he sell bread for local a loaf for 1,50 DH but for peoples visiting for 2:50 DH and they are killing me they are Muslim and talk about religion wish I will care less ) ( don’t try to stick urself to sell ur thing if someone need it then treat him as customer with respect etc )
