Moved from a midrise in downtown Dallas to Cedar Hill and absolutely love it. DART does not come into Cedar Hill and as such it misses all the shenanigans that some DART passengers come with. Low crime, beautiful scenery, diverse, gay-friendly, good shopping/eating, lovely homes. It truly is a hidden gem in DFW. I had never heard of Cedar Hill until someone suggested I explore it during my home search. I made the drive from I-20, exiting Beltline (1382) and was sold on the scenic drive alone, calming and peaceful. I know growth is inevitable but my preference is for it to stay "hidden." I'm a 20 year resident this year, 2024.
Im 37 years old. I grew up in cedar hill in the early90s. Went to waterford oaks elementary, beltline intermediate and permenter middle school. Its definitely changed. Wasnt very diverse like today. Also lived in Duncanville and Desoto surrounding areas.
Your videos are always great but this has to be the best video that you've uploaded by far.

I see you're showcasing homes in the Lakeridge area of Cedar Hill which is very expensive. Please show homes in other parts of Cedar Hill. If I didn't know better I would think all homes are very large and costly. This is not a balanced video. I live in the area. Show all parts to potential residents, so they can make an informed decision before relocating. Housing is less expensive in Cedar Hill when compared to other suburbs in Northern Dallas county.
