On our 2nd day here in Italy, We booked a tour through St. Peters Basilica and the Vatican Museum. We hardly ever take guided tours but doing it this way ensured we didn't have to wait in line for tickets and we got some history about the worlds most famous church. Even though we expected crowds, we weren't expecting parts of the tour to be rushed and cramped. But our guide from The Tour Guy, April was absolutely amazing. She was fun, full of knowledge of art and history.
Never in my life would I have ever expected to see the Sistine Chapel in real life! We were not able to record in the chapel but being able to see it in person was a moment I will never forget!
After spending the morning in the Vatican, We headed back to the room to take a quick nap and grab a bite to eat. Back out on the streets we decided to check off another bucket list item which was the Trevi Fountain. It's another one of those moments in life where I could not believe I was really there. And even after putting this video together, it still doesn't feel real.
