I highly recommend this course, I graduated in 2012 and worked as a photographer for ten years. I was surprised how many different subject areas there are within the photography degree course and after the first year I was able to choose modules that really interested me. The passion shown by the lecturers for their specialist areas was remarkable and I made many lasting friendships. You will learn many skills but it’s not just a course teaching you how to work a camera or use a darkroom, there are plenty of serious academic challenges, in particular the ethics of photography is ever evolving and now AI is going to add even more things to consider.
