Did you notice the other shooting star @4:47?

Almost the same latitude as Singapore so just north of the Equator although a little bit of the Maldives are south of the Equator.From the north of the Maldives you can see Polaris, the North Pole star, and from the far south Sigma Octantis, the South Pole star, although Sigma Octantis is very faint at about 5.8 magnitude.

As much as I love stargazing, but my friend, if you are on the Maldives, the real wonders lie below you and not above you!!!!!!
