I'm so confused. Don't Surgical techs take care of the sterile are and passing tools to the surgeon?

Tifany Lam yes. But so can a scrub nurse. You can be a scrub nurse or circulating nurse or both

@@joea4442 I feel like circulating nurses do not really scrub in or assist with surgery. I did an internship in the OR, and the nurses there were not involved in the surgery at all.
