What It’s Like to Be a Billionaire in Switzerland
Ойын-сауық
Switzerland is one of the richest countries in the world with the highest GDP per capita. So you could say that almost everyone in the country is wealthy. This means that in order to really stand out from the rest of the wealthy, you have to be ultra wealthy. Luckily, Switzerland has plenty of offer the ultra elite, and their billionaires are taking advantage of it. Currently, there are about 40 billionaires living in Switzerland, according to Forbes. The country also has a favorable tax system, and the banking industry is pretty huge. Many of the country’s billionaires come from wealth, meaning they inherited it from their families. Some of these billionaires are pretty unconventional, meaning they’re not spending their money on just yachts and private jets. They’re giving back to the community with charitable donations to various organizations and universities. But, living in Switzerland doesn’t come cheap either. With a wealthy country, there’s a wealthy population driving up the cost of living. Homes in the area are practically mansions and castles costing millions of dollars. We’re talking tens of millions of dollars. Switzerland is becoming a safe haven for the rich as well, with dining and shopping experiences catering to the ultra wealthy. In this video, we’re going to take a look at what it’s like to be a billionaire in Switzerland.

I lived in Switzerland for 18months in the mid 80s it was my number 1 pick of where I would love to have Citizenship after America since I was born in the United States. I appreciate the freedoms we have and served in the USArmy to defend our freedoms. How Ever Switzerland was far cleaner and safer than the USA

You guys really should make a playlist titled (what's it like to be a billionaire in different countries)
What it's like to be an billionaire anywhere... BUY ANYTHING YOU WANT!
I'm Swiss, first generation here in the States, have lived in CH. These billionaires may or may not be "naturally born Swiss" as a lot of the names "sound" more latin-ish. So this should be titled something like "The Richest People That Have Decided to Live in CH."

Hi, I had the money to buy a lap top when I was in college. I did four years study and used their computers. I even used to collect my son from after school club, put him on the back of my bike and cycle up to the college, on a Friday night usually. This was after all day, in college! Then, I had to cycle home in the dark and rain too. Thinking back, it was silly of me but I just didn't bother getting one. I then bought one after college and used it for only a few months, I broke it in temper, by bashing the keyboard because I couldn't remember how to close the windows, with a shortcut. My brother fixed it first but the second time, he said just buy a new one as its not repairable!
Bilanz magazine just published a list this month the Richest Swiss is Family Hoffman the owner of Roche Holding
Funny that Switzerland is land locked and many of the activities these people participate in are maritime!😂😂

Again, I'm Swiss, first generation living here in the States, have lived in CH.... and NO, you probably DON'T want to live there. You're expected to live by a rather "strict" way of life, by a *specific* set of societal standards filled with certain expected etiquette. Sure, younger generations are doing their damnedest to "change all that," but "rules" like keeping things very clean, not being obnoxious or infringe upon another's privacy/expectation of quiet, are just a small fraction of what you'd have to put up with. If you like to do pretty much what you want with lots of room, space, and some privacy, then stay in the States... trust me.
