In college, I always wondered why my graded English papers came back with these large purple circles. I asked another girl and she said she has them too, and that she caught the instructor at the bar as she was grading our papers, and she said she had to drink to get through reading our papers.

The jubilee in your kid impersonations is just so cute. Ha haa! Kids allow themselves to feel joy in a way that adults often do not.

Grading is so hard 😭 I did volunteering at my old school and then the subtitute had to mark instead of the actual teacher (as she was away). I said: ‘Idm doing it’. *45 papers later and 2hrs gone* Me so tired: done

When I was 4 I "graded" my mums students paper, he had to redo the exam, since then my mum never brought students papers home. 💀

I'm a uni student and my lecturer always has a bar of chocolate in his hand. one day, i noticed my paper got a 'nice work' sticker and he said, "you did a good job in exam" . However, i noticed the stained of a chocolate on the paper 😂😂😂 and just laughed

once my teacher spilt coffee all over the exams. 💀💀

When I was in the 11th grade, my precal teacher would put stickers on our tests. BUT, only if we got higher then an 85%. A lot of people started getting upset about the stickers, so my friend decided they’d start drawing them on because even though you “didn’t do well”, that didn’t mean you should be discredited because you still tried your hardest nonetheless.

YEEESSS! Ha haaa! 😂 So funny. Any glimmer of a hope that the kid is favorite is a big deal to a lot of students. Years ago I went to breakfast at a (preschool) student's house at the request of his family who is from Turkey. I only specify that because their was a "suggested rule" that teachers are not allowed to connect with families or children outside of the classroom setting for any reason at all. Even if you knew the family prior to working at the school (it was a silly rule put in place as an over-correction to some families and teachers getting drunk years before I got there apparently). Since in this family's culture it was such an offense and issue that I would not receive their invitation to go to their home as their son's teacher, I informed my owner and I went. That Monday at school everything was going fine until there was what appeared to be decided silence at a story time. Now, that young man was just learning English... But he figured out how to say "I am Ms. Ra'Chelle's favorite! She came to my house... Not to your house." to each child in the class. That was an interesting fire and Squad of little investigative reporters. I ended up spending time with any of the families that invited me, which is the way I grew up anyway.

My Spanish teacher once spilt a drink over my essay. My ink was water based, so it instantly started to run, causing her to try and panic iron it, which made it far worse. In the end I was handed back a purple fuzzy sheet of paper with the only writing remaining on it saying my first name. She felt so guilty, but it was absolutely hilarious 😂

I got my paper back with coffee stains on it, I didn't mind at all. My teacher that year though was just so done with everything and said "Yeah sorry about that, I was marking it in bed and some coffee I was balancing spilled, hung it up to dry for you so you're good". So one of my important papers is out there somewhere with coffee stains on it, love that he just didn't hesitate to say the truth
