I have owned a 77 for 44 years. Used it in a speedshop/transmission shop i owned for a few years. I would suggest you "center" the steering box. The tightest part of the gear lash is when the box is "centered" making the box tighter with no slop. My only clue is your steering wheel is not centered, so you might want to check that out. Mine is back in the paint shop for a full restore of the paint and interior with new electronic instrument panel. Great trucks brother, keep her rolling. Mine has a 302 and a C4 behind it. Has 100000 miles and still no oil usage. Have fun!

Open headers? Yeah, that's insanely loud! No wonder your getting lots of attention! I personally love the sound of old school over catalytic exhaust though.

I live a state above you and I have a 79 F100. I'm a couple of weeks away from getting it on the road. Watching this makes me excited to be on the black top in the 79.

Thanks man. I’m currently in the process of building a 347 stroker for this truck. Just have to buy heads and then we’re all set.

@@demattoskidd8497 No problem, buddy. Heck yeah, mine just has a 351m bolted to a C6. Just had an axle bearing pressed, replaced the axle seal and brake shoes yesterday. What a job drum brakes are lol

I ran just 87 octane in it. Would be about $35 to fill it up. But it is a 12 gallon tank. It goes by quick
