What it is like living in Tanzania as a Nigerian
In this episode of “Nigerians to the World”, Kcee Udonsi speaks with The Ikemefuna Couple. Mr Ikemefuna is a Nigerian living in Tanzania, and married to a Tanzania woman. We discuss the food, culture, customs, the people, things to do, the language, music and adjusting to living in Tanzania as an expat. Kcee asks what are the must eat foods and must visit places in Tanzania. #Nigerians #WeNaija #Tanzania

Tanzania is an East African country known for its vast wilderness areas. They include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. Offshore lie the tropical islands of Zanzibar, with Arabic influences, and Mafia, with a marine park home to whale sharks and coral reefs.

Obyno check the description for their social media handle.
Try makande, try ugali na samaki, try mtori, mlenda, kisamvu, dagaaa, machalari, kitawa, kiburu, uji. We have many traditional foods. It is food we prefer to ourselves than giving tourists. So tourists we give them chips mayai, piza, pilau, burgers, anything that relates to rhem like Indian foods

Hello, I am a Tanzanian lady, me and my fiancé who is from Nigeria are about to get married soon in Tanzania and are planning to live in Dar es Salam. I wanted to ask if you could help us with the contact of the couple or if you can advice, how do we go about getting a residence permit for my Nigerian husband, who will want to live with me here in Tanzania. And if you don't mind we can work together to make the business flourish. I'm a hairstylist/haircare practitioner with 8 years experience here in Nigeria. With extensive knowledge about massage therapy, the likes of deep tissue massage, aromatherapy etc. Looking forward to working as a hair stylist with a reputable organization outside Nigeria.
So bad, such a beautiful lady is with a Nigerian. I don't hate them but we need to protect our Genes
Wow....when I calculate the sum of the handsome face of the husband by simple addition to the beautiful face of the wife, after extricating and subtracting his ugly hat, I can automatically tell how beautiful their children look !!!
Wow, if you think Nigerians are loved all over Africa, try living in SA or any other East African country, you will change that narrative

@@gloriajoseph8062 i'm sorry i really cant help you with that right now. My last visit after i relocated back to naija was in 2018. I can give u a few tips on how to live and the likes but i currently do not have Nigerian friends there.
The lady isn't a very good ambassador of her country. She seems to value her husband's culture even more than her own. Her inability to express her rich Tanzanian culture, food, language is mind-boggling. Even her accent is Nigerian imitation. The husband seems to be a better ambassador for her country Tanzania and is a ctually more knowledgable. Dada wetu wa Tabora Unyamwezini umetuangusha kiaina.

You tanzanian need to imbibe pan africanisim into you The couple wanted to balance both side Do you know what it means for a nigerian to leave naija and relocate to east africa The woman promoted her husband side His man promoted tz to make it a positive balance

@@joycelinelyimo-fenske8745 unfortunately Tanzanians are poor in expressing themselves properly and elevating their country compared to other East Africans. It's not even about knowledge of English because this lady can speak well even though she is trying to force a Naija accent. This lack of confidence is indeed mind boggling. Tanzania is culturally rich in everything -language(Swahili), food, music, clothing, tourism and just about everything.

Typical African women. They're not very knowledgeable, they don't care about current affairs or information and it's hard to have knowledgeable conversations with them. As far as they're concerned, being knowledgeable isn't relevant to a female. Can you blame her?
