Hello Dr.Klar, Thank you for the information I have been having brown spotting on and off since last week .I had an embrio transfer on May 19 ' 18.on June 10 , 18 I had a heavy period for 4 days then it got lighter and lasted 3 days more.but had negative hcg blood tests on day 8 and day 14 after the embrio tranfer.I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis on December 2017,when I had surgery (laparatomy)to remove my fibroids.after my period in June I stopped taking my progesterone pill and wanted to take a break from all this hormones.now I see the difference from when I was taking the progesterone only pill that my surgeon prescribed.

I’m not sure if my experience can relate to anyone else But my period lasts about 7-10 days Very heavy on days 1-3 In between spotty and brown Disappears on day 6-7 Light on day 8-9 And spotty and brown for the remainder It feels never ending Cycle is every 28-33 days And I have three healthy, grown children, I am extremely fertile

My cycles have changed drastically from the moment I started and stopped birth control. I stopped in February 2020 and since then I swear spot 3-4 days before my period. I need some advice. I'm not trying to get pregnant and this maybe a little TMI for KZread but I need help. I have been having irregular periods from the start of my cycle at age 13, i' m 20 now and I still have them. I see a period about 4-6 times a year. Its July now an I've only seen a period in April from from November last year and this month. But this months period laated 7 days 5 of which was just clots 6-7 spotting and then it stopped. I've seen doctors before who told me it normal to see irregular periods but this has been happening for years and I don't know what to do. What about clotting ? Some times there is clotting and sometimes there is none. There is some spotting - but fairly fresh , not brown.

I am a little confused because I have been experiencing spotting for about a week now and to begin with the blood was a dark black color and it’s a bit lighter now. But I am still also experiencing pain as if I am on my period. They vary from being extremely sharp to moderate pain. I also have irregular periods and a few months my gp said that polycysistic ( wrong spelling ☺️)

Is there a test or a way to Dr can check for endometriosis? My Dr says that I could have it but there is no test, to show if you have it or not. The only way to know for sure is if I would do a hysterectomy

hi Marc. thank u for ur videos i really appreciate it. i really get educated with ur videos. i have 3 yrs old daughter. and we r ttc 6 months now with no luck. i always had painful periods but at that time my ob said once u will give a birth u will be ok. i was always taking couple of ibprophen and felt ok. but now about 5 months im getting so bad pain and other symptoms before my periods and also sometimes not always brown spotting 3 days before my period but once i get my period everything disappearing i mean symptoms i still have cramps but only firsr day of my period. what it could doctor plz answer my question. i thought it could be progesterone problems coz first half of my cycle im totally other person all symptoms starts 3 days after ovulation. so i thought maybe i have low progesterone or high coz as u said after ovulation progesterone takes place plz tell what it could be. my doctors refusing to do hormone test. i dont know if it is prohibited to do hormone tests in usa. but it was my second doctor told me that its not necessarily to do hormone test. forgot to tell u i had hormonal imbalance 11 years ago and was treated my male hormones was high. thank u for the answer. i really appreciate it

I have recently lost 100 pounds, had pcos since I was 18 (36 now) been ttc for 16 years. My cycle is starting to come regular but last three cycles 36 days of 4-7 days of bleeding then a week later I get another thick brown almost black spotting 4days, then 5 more bright red to dark then back to brown. I know I need to see an RE but I don't so much want the pure focus on immediately ttc but to get my hormones under control any suggestions or ideas make sure the Dr understands my priorities?

I'm currently 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant and on vaginal progesterone suppositories. I always spotted before my period, sometimes 5 days before! I had my progesterone checked before I got pregnant at CD22. It was 10.6. My OB said that she likes it 15 or higher but she STILL wasn't worried. She seems to think I'm fine. I obviously disagree and pretty much forced her to supplement with progesterone. Once I got my first positive pregnancy test, I started the progesterone twice daily. Ever since, I've been having menstrual like cramps. Is this a normal side effect of the progesterone? Could there be something wrong with the pregnancy? My OB says it's normal, but I'm worried.

Cramping is normal during pregnancy. I do not personally know your case. If your OB says that it is normal , then I would trust their word as they have been working with you. Try your best not to worry! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy!

Had one miscarriage I think due to the fibroids

My period was suppose to come on Feb, 10 (Sunday) Started spotting Feb 8 (Friday). Been on/ off spotting. Spotting stopped Feb 12. My boobs started to become sore Friday and even my husband said they got slightly bigger. I'm thinking this is implantation bleeding. But symptoms and all started 12DPO... I have a 30 day cycle. I'm unsure what to think at this moment cuz in October I was 16 days late but negative on the pregnancy test but started 2 days after that with a full-blown period. (I'm thinking that was maybe a chemical miscarriage , or so somethingng like that) so I just need some answers or some reassurance, thank you guys.

It is dificult to say what it was. I would have your hormones tested.

I take some pregnancy test yesterday and the result is one darker line that's a control line and the other line is faint line and that's a test line...then this morning I got my period..what I am going to do.. help me..I'm pregnant or not...

I told my GYN I had 2 periods in 1 month (January) he has scheduled me for HSG. what do you think? He took blood work on last visit in January for PCOS. And said my Labs were fine, though consistent for PCOS. My annual paps are pinchy-like for me (uncomfortable) I'm a virgin & am hesitant to have the test. I don't feel we've talked enough or that I understand why he wants this test and is not concerned about getting my hormones regulated. What do you think? Should I go along w/the HSG? Or what should I ask him about?
