ABOUT THE VIDEO: Meet my 5-year-old student Allen. She is a new student in 51Talk. I was given a mission to take care of her since she is a VIP student. When I entered the classroom, I kinda have a feeling that it's going to be a hard lesson. Based on my student's expression, she seemed aloof. I was trying to be engaging during the introduction, but there was no response from her. Not even a smile. She's showing a poker face from the start-up, then warm-up up to the title page.
I still continue teaching because time is running. Not even her mom could make her talk. For the first seven minutes of our lesson, she did not talk. But, when we were reading the title, she suddenly speaks.Yay! At the end of our lesson, I was able to get her "kiliti". After the class, she added me to her favorite. She is now my regular student.
When she booked me again, she was no longer the same. She was smiling and very active during the class. Perhaps, she was just shocked before. She doesn't know how to respond. Now, she's showing her real attitude - a very sweet child.

- A teaching certificate like TESOL, TEFL, etc. or a professional teacher’s license is preferred.

- CPU: Intel Core i3 6th gen and above / i5 to i7 4th gen and up / AMD A Series A8 7500 and above / AMD Ryzen
- Memory: At least 4GB of RAM with a minimum of 100GB free hard disk space available
- A headset with an extended microphone and noise-cancelling features
- A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam (with at least 720p resolution)
- A wired DSL Internet connection of at least 5 Mbps (LTE, USB sticks & wireless connections are NOT allowed)
