@@nikos8247 The name Ottoman is a made-up name. The state called Ottoman is actually the state of the Byzantine Greeks who converted to Islam. Sultan Mehmed II called himself the "Roman Emperor". He wrote his name as "Roman Emperor" on the coins he personally minted. The Ottoman Empire is the State of the Byzantine Greeks who converted to Islam. The Turks did not have a say in the administration, they were only used as soldiers.

Sooo many Turkish people love Spain. Spain have beautifull architecture, mediterrian culture, human rights especially LGBT rights and cool parties... you must proud of your country. And Turkey is paradise country. You have to visit our beutifull agean and mediterrian coastal areas and black sea region looks like switzerland. You can visit trabzon-uzungöl in blacksea region. So many historical places like cappadocia or istanbul... I hope you will like Turkey too. Spain and Turkey both of them sooo amazing countries.

Secularism in Turkey emerged from the commanders who served in the Balkan countries, which were the lands of the Ottoman Empire. Like most European countries, the people did not gain democracy by themselves.They fought against the occupation, but they did not know that the Ottoman Empire would collapse.In the continuation of this, the army has kept the administration under control until today.

Merhaba, I just stumbled across this video and I loved it, I am an Indian who has been to Istanbul and Ankara for work. And, I am totally in love with ur cuisine, specially dolmas, kebabs and a lentil soup( I don't remember it's name), they evolve a very different taste than say, our spicy Indian dishes. Turkish people are very friendly and I would love to go there again.

You are wrong. As young Turks, we love our country and culture so much. Not europhiles or something, we just want the welfare level of europe to be in our country. We are against the religion-exploitation and polarizer mentality/governing that tried to divert us from the principles that formed the foundations of our republic, which has provided this welfare us before. We just don't like the system which steals the future of the Turkish youth and makes them offend to their own country.

@@AliAhmed_68 Pakistan loves Turkey mainly because of their dramas. Pakistani dramas are not much famous internationally so they don't know about our culture, places, history etc. Only a general introduction like we have of other Muslim countries like Tajikistan, Türkmenistan, Azerbaijan etc.

As a Turkish my favorite countries are Spain Portugal Argentina and Bosnia and Herzegovina :)
