Bedankt voor de duidelijke uitleg. Wist niet dat CO2 uitstoot door vliegtuigen schadelijker is dan CO2 uitstoot op zeeniveau.

Im going to stop thoughtlessly use airplanes! Oh and the burden of building better appliances that are more energy-efficient and repairable is on the maker, NOT the consumer. So why don't you appeal to them and not consumers' guilt.

The consumers feed the demands of the maker... our consumption choices matter. But YES the companies ought to be responsible for their actions. Just 100 companies are responsible for 71% of the earth's greenhouse gas emissions.

I'm afraid so! Humanity will probably never stop getting more clothes, gadgets and long distance holidays. But as a geography teacher the least I can do is make the next generation aware of their actions. Thanks for your comment.
