Wat Ban Den is located about 40 km north of Chiang Mai. It is one of the largest temple complexes in Thailand. While it is not ancient, or even old, it is a spectacular place to visit. Surrounded by many other tourist attractions in the Mae Rim area, it is worth adding to your list of places to see in Chiang Mai.
