Thank you for this explanation. I think in western medicine even an examination is considered "treatment". such as an x-ray as it shows on medical reports. I'm not a medically trained doctor, so I wondered about it, it is probably a form of conceptualisation in the diagnostic process as part of treatment.

Well, having thought about my notes from yesterday - an examination like x-ray can observe internally if any issue at a certain point in the body as a form of evidence. Further tests like urine tests and blood tests can help to confirm issues of inflamation e.g. with back pain issues. To clarify or investigte underlying issues or causes. Treatment is a medical insurance question probably, having read about medical screennigs in the western literature. As WHO decised on which disease needs screening based on statistics so I guess "treatment" is a term internationally used all over the world, like they do it in Hungary (for the medical tests completed as well. In Hungary qualified medical doctors can validate test results, hence probably the term "treatment"). But I don't know for sure. Lower back pain - if it is a diagnosis given to an individual, can cover many issues ranging from injury to cancer pain or aging. I was told even if x-ray uncovers e.g. disc degeneration, it does not mean that it would result in pain for all cases. Hence, when symptoms are reported, it is diagnosed e.g. with an x-ray which then being called treatment? So I assume that - it is the symptoms reporting and the medical test that counts as a "treatment". I don't know unfortunatelly. Then, is it the back pain that is in treatment with yoga therapy as part of the hollistic approach even if the underlying cause is something else? I saw that in the US alongside chemotherapy in hospitals or following a surgery yoga is part of (physical?) rehabilitation? So, yoga therapy is a form of rehabilitation in medicine or well-being support for the general public? I have not seen it in Hungary yet, although Budapest Medical School does teach it to medical students. At least, they did it a few years ago when I had a short time working in one of the hospital (I was a sociotherapist there - only for one month in psychiatry). I had the opportunity to practice yoga which was recommended for the medical students for well-being management. I mean the medical students could go to the classes to care for themselves.
