I mean the schools are to blame too, obv not as much as parents, but still they should do better too. Schools dont teach anything more than enough to pass a test at the end of the year. Teachers rarely teach any more

Very true, children are supposed to be trained by all because when you train your child at home and then he or she goes back to school and start watching porn. A child that you didn't buy a phone? What about the class mate? We really need to clean up every where now not just parent training. When I was small back then if a child didn't go to school the whole area will question you for not going to school. Nowadays you see secondary school boys and girls holding hands together and nobody is talking about it? Even kissing in public place no wahala 🤦 television too is spoiling this kids. Because you see ladies shaking butt in music video that younger viewers ate meant to watch. We really need to get our community cleaned up, schools, and family

Technology (CellPhone) and social media has affected this generation a lot. When I was in secondary there’s no cellphone yet and for you to browse the internet, you have to locate a cyber cafe. In those days, you cannot even hug a girl in our school, but it’s a pity that young children of today can even post naked videos on social media. It hurts so much to see how some parenting is a disaster. I pray they listen to such advice and change the rules before it’s too late.

Agree with you, my job is sort of very busy but husband is a business man. Instead of an house help cos of fear that they could be mischievous, we employed more labour in my husband's company so he's literally just supervising how the business is going on & spend most of his time for our kids. They stick to him after school & during holidays. And it's working for us, kids are also growing more mature by the day & almost teenagers now. I just ensure I cook almost everything needed & preserve in the freezer for them. The beautiful part is that they are well monitored and groomed. The sad part is that they are so close to Daddy than me 😃 but it's ok, provided they are good.

We are our children first role model especially our daughter. Your daughter will first of all learn how to dress from her mother before she started being influenced by her peers and the society. My Daughter is 16 years old soon to be 17, I have to approve the clothes she buy online and I take her to stores to buy the things she can not get from online. My point is that we should try to create time for our children, know where they are and what they are doing at all time they leave the rest for God to help us out. As long as our children are still under our care we should let them know that they need our approval for everything they want to do or they need to do.
