Find you very intereting mate. I’m interested in planting up some woods ,on our farm
Now there’s an intelligent and foresighted man.
This is all great, but how do we learn how to manage woodlands ? and can you do it effectively for free? (learn about it that is) because it's all very well and good telling people how important it all is but with no money and a woodland to manage, what is most important is to know how to do it. What tree mix is best, how thinning works, what trees are best to coppice, how to make it a sustainable woodland etc ?
