About my videos: These videos are a resource for anyone wishing to wake up from the dream of separation. Awakening, enlightenment, and liberation are becoming far more mainstream possibilities than they once were. There are many good teachers out there, and if you resonate with the teachings of Eckhart Tolle, Rupert Spira, or Sadhguru, you might find resources here that address these deeper promptings to investigate your true nature.
Disclaimer: The information presented in these videos is not meant to diagnose or treat any psychiatric or medical illness. The inquiries presented herein are potent and can have powerful effects on the way you experience yourself and reality. If you feel you are at risk of harming yourself or others, these videos and practices may not be the best thing for you at the moment. Seek help wherever necessary which might include a hospital emergency department, a suicide helpline etc.

So relevant for what I'm going through atm. Crippling morning anxiety. I do think it is partly due to ssri withdrawal but nonetheless, the fear isn't coming from nowhere. It is enormously challenging to allow these intensely uncomfortable feelings but I find that allowing them, talking to them, seeing that they're rooted in my inner child and speaking to my inner child has been so soothing. Yes, loving these emotions. Hard to do when in the midsts of a wave but it's really the only way...

Hi angelo. Wouldnt it be better to say " don't believe thoughts" rather than " don't believe your thoughts". As the first sentence presumes that thoughts are 'yours', but a huge part of awakening is that thoughts aren't yours, they arise on their own. When they are seen to all ariseon their own, the belief in them can automatically loosen. Rather than trying not to believe them.

I had a major glimpse after the first approach. I have it many times, when I realize all my struggles of the past week, the great deep suffering, is all just thoughts. And when I realize its not me, I laugh uncontrollably. This type of awakening usually is not a permanent shift, but I feel like I am inching closer. I think its paradoxical in that I know all my problems in life are not real and yet I also do need to become the person who can solve them in order to relax into true presence. Sometimes I feel guilty letting go because it is as if I am also ignoring problems in my life, yet in order for me to be the one who can solve these problems I need to be able to let go otherwise I am constantly seeking and unable to make progress in my external life. All of life seems to be a paradox.

It's similar to mine. I've got so much to do. But I don't have anything to do, just stop and give my time to the one thing that actually matters.

Really excellent pointers. I spontaneously turned to and recognized "the mysterious" (or the "enormous" or "awesome," another two imperfect descriptions) when contemplating the well-worn question "Why is there something rather than nothing?" and marinating in it many times (and letting the words of the question fade away while staying solely with the mystery [sic] and wonder the question evokes, at least for me--other queries or prompts may work better for someone else). This "turning to the mystery" (which is nothing in particular, just extraordinarily ordinary) has been part of my practice ever since.

Mysterious... Let's say I'm listening to a good pop song. It stirs emotions, it seems to open my heart. It also makes me strongly long for something big and unspecific. It can make me bored with what I was doing until I heard it. I may listen to it over and over to stay in that longing. What is it? I always thought of it as a desire/infatuation. But I wonder, if something there comes right from the Source, even if not in a quiet/content way. Been thinking about it for a long time. It's subtle but powerful and has a sense of deep dissatisfaction, longing for something Other.

If there is a sense of longing for something, it is you longing to stay as You. Also, thoughts and emotions do not stop, even after full and permanent awakening. It is just included in the space that is “You”, not the other way around. You don’t get lost in them anymore!

“Don’t believe any of your thoughts” is absolutely profound, both from an awakening standpoint and from a practical standpoint. Nervous about an upcoming interaction? Don’t believe the thoughts surrounding it. Dependent on a particular outcome? Don’t believe thoughts telling you you need a thing. Incredibly freeing. Even the seemingly positive thoughts can cause problems (“I’m a good person”, “I can do this”) - buying into them is a distortion / contraction of the actuality of what is actually occurring. (On the other hand, experiencing them nonjudgmentally without buying into them is experiencing their actuality). Thoughts seem to be fed on belief in them too. Consider someone on a street corner trying to tell you the world is ending or what have you. If you make it perfectly clear that you simply don’t believe them, whatever they say… they’ll give up, and look for someone else, and that interaction will dissipate quickly. Anyways, just wanted to comment that I’ve seen huge benefit from putting that first pointer into practice. Thanks 🙏

Yep, also because this strategy logically should also include "Don't believe a thought that says, 'Don't believe a thought.'" Paradox and confusion lurk everywhere once thoughts take over (or are deployed out of necessity). Obviously, thoughts (and beliefs) can be very useful, especially in daily life, but when it comes to recognizing true nature (suchness, "isness," pristine awareness, etc.), they're of no help at all (and they can become a source of great burden when one always gets captured by them). The technique is very simple and powerful, but it takes some time to get the hang of it ime.

But other times I don't do any of that and I just day dream constantly, and I enjoy it very much. I'm almost addicted to creative thinking. Don't believe your thoughts. This leads to the distractions and manipulation that so many fall victim to. Instead, observe your own thought patterns and behaviors and the behaviors of society and try to find a single catalyst that explains all of it. There is only one cause, and when you find it, your purpose and awakening are delivered to you. Don't attach negative behaviors to people, attach them to the environment. Reality and that environment are perfect. Our inability to comprehend that perfection is nothing more than a bit of missing context that's revealed when we find the source catalyst. Find the source and you see the perfection. This reality was made for you and me, and we are one of the same. Forgiveness is the first step. Forgiveness then evolves into unconditional love. If you want to find your awakening, take care of yourself. Get healthy physically and mentally. Physical health is simple but not easy. It requires good nutrition and exercise. Mental health comes from serving others, and you serve others best when you're physically healthy. Actions that don't serve your health or others will not serve you. "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice." Logic is what enables you to understand the way your own actions effect yourself through others. Wisdom is what enables you to use that understanding to help yourself by helping others. A leader doesn't give a man a fish, a leader teaches a man to fish. We all have the same purpose: to serve each other. We exist to find our unique expression of that purpose. All I can do is point you in the right direction. Only you can find your unique expression.

For me ita like yes ok they are thoughts. But collective thoughts, that have some relativ3 truth to the are hard to dismiss as thoughts. Like for me, im aging, and aging women arent really that high of value to men or society. I know i make it important to be liked by men. But. Hey, im still not awakened and i really would love to share my life with a man. So. This is where the dilemma is. 😂

not to believe anything and yet health of body comes up while eating or exercising etc is “ good for the body” etc so let that go too?? Resistance noticed in letting go of this “ concern for survival??”
