🤔The correct completion of the sentence would be: "I am surprised BY you." "By" is the correct preposition to use in this sentence, as it indicates the agent or cause of the surprise. 🤔 So, the correct sentence is: ✅✅✅✅"I am surprised by you." ✅✅✅✅ The reason "by" is the correct choice in this sentence is due to the verb "surprised". "Surprised" is a passive verb, indicating that the subject (I) is receiving the action of being surprised. In this case, the agent or cause of the surprise is "you". In English grammar, when a passive verb is used, the preposition "by" is typically used to indicate the agent or cause of the action. This is why "by" is the correct choice in this sentence. On the other hand: - "With" is used to indicate association, accompaniment, or instrumentality (e.g., "I am surprised with your help"). - "From" is used to indicate origin or source (e.g., "I am surprised by the news from you"). In this sentence, "by" is the correct choice because it indicates that "you" is the cause or agent of the surprise.

I admit I could not locate the subject sentence that appears to be the source of the controversy. Nonetheless, some thoughts. The proper use of "with" "by" or "at" when used in conjunction with "surprise" depends upon what the context. For example, it would be correct, I maintain, to use "surprised at" to convey a sharp or heightened degree of surprise -- bordering almost on shock. For example, let's say that parents left for the weekend, and assumed their teenage sons could be trusted to conduct themselves responsibly, and upon their return found that the house had apparently been the used to host a wild party, resulting in substantial damage. The angry and shocked parents might well declare "We're surprised at you!" Here, surprised "by" really would not at all be a strong enough statement. So again, it depends upon the sentence context.

@@mikekurtz5868 Your comment and the user's perspective are related as they both discuss the nuanced usage of prepositions in relation to the verb "surprise." While your comment elaborates on the grammatical aspect and provides a general explanation, the user's perspective delves into how the choice of preposition can vary based on the intensity or nature of the surprise within a specific context. Both viewpoints contribute to a deeper understanding of how language functions in conveying emotion and meaning.

Perhaps you could start by spelling “surprised” correctly.
Question 7: The far more accepted expression would be "scheduled for release."

"Let's meet at the park tomorrow afternoon" implies a meeting point or a general location. This is often used when the focus is on the location itself as a meeting place. "We had a picnic in the park last Sunday" suggests an activity that took place within the boundaries of the park. This preposition is used when you're talking about an event or activity that occurred within a specific area. So, the choice of preposition depends on whether you're referring to the park as a location or as the setting for an activity... 💙💙💙
