I am about to buy a 1995 Blue Bird with a navistar 444. Can your products help me?

1995 Navistar will be our Hydra Chip for the power, but an Orion Lite for the VPM, governors, etc.

Sr. Bill I'm trying to get a 2000 international school bus, but I'm undecided on what to get between the T444E or the DT466E what's ur professional opinion on differences on them, ( power & fuel efficiency )... plus, I want to upgrade engine parts, get the Orion, can i get the hydra chip ? Also, cyclops, etc, etc. Thank you.

The 444 and the 466 are both great engines. We would lean towards the 466 if all else was equal. The 466 has more displacement, is a straight 6 instead of a V8, and typically comes with a better cooling setup than some of the 444s in the Internationals. If there was a good priced 444 that was well taken care of, I wouldn't shy away from it, but when we were looking for our bus, we ended up with a 466 and have been happy with it. Our bus is actually for sale if you're looking. For anything 1998 and later, we would do the Orion Reflash System for that. The Hydra Chip is for the 94-97.5 Interntaionals and the Ford 7.3Ls. The computers are different in the later International vehicles, so we'd do the Orion for that. The Orion can do your tuning and diagnostics.
