I Am Happy to Know that the Time for Our People to Heal is Now. And Our People Will Heal and Help The World Heal as Well. As We All Gather Under the Sacred Tree of Life as One Nation. We can still Feel the Pain Inside from the War and Atrocities Committed Even Though We didn't Actually Experience it Firsthand. The World Looking at Us like Dangerous Savage Vagrants and Alcoholics only Contributed to the Alcoholism and Further Confusion Within Our People. That We Stare Ourselves in Our Own Reflections Asking Who We Are in Hope that We May Finally Receive the Answer. Not Just for Ourselves.. But for Others When They Ask. The Truth is We Became Lost as a People Along the Way Because Our Practices and Teachings of Thousands of Years were Extinguished and Outlawed. But We Had to Understand, No Matter How Lost We Become We Can Still Learn Through Our Spirit. And Heal Through Our Spirit. Others Will Finally See and Acknowledge the Atrocities Only Awe Inspired By How We Walk So Free. They Will Begin to Ask Out Of Curiosity, "How can you move so freely?" And We Will Respond, "Maybe My Flesh was Enslaved for Centuries.. but My Spirit Never Was. Same as On Earth.. my Flesh was Formed By Creator from Dirt.. But My Spirit.. My Spirit Was a Gift From The Creator Above." -DakotaRay/Chickasaw Nation
